Finally the weekend is here! But am not going to wake up late today, cos am attending the workshop at Furama City Centre. Its organised by my company and costed $28(comes with 5 bottles of nail polish, a $5 voucher, a nail clipper, orange stick, file, towel and a spa bowl furthermore free flows of refreshments!) Oh boy, do I sound like a cheapo here?! Haa...Anyway, the 3 hour thingy is abit short, but the person in-charge covered most of the main points. Like what type of fingers is suitable for which type of nails shape...how to paint the nails, even touch on scrubing of hand and feet! Ya, we are encouraged to try it on our feet! *No image, all the gals in the room, bringing up their legs* Hee...their products are good! My colleagues and me is so tempted to buy after trying it out.(Oh I can't find some of the products on the website). Ok enuff of my craps! Need to start my notes le, bye bye..

Sickie Weekend

Last weekend is very terrible...I was down with fever (38.9) on friday. Was shivering shortly after lunch, but only went to see the doc around 4plus. This company's doc is very funny...ask me do I need a MC for tomorrow (which is sat) and I replied nope. Then he proceed with oh...what time u knock off today? Me...6.30pm. Oh going to knock off soon...think you wont need one. I was like HUH!

Luckily my boss is understanding enough to let me go home earlier, even without a MC.
Infact was glad that I am heading home, cos am really feeling very sick, whole body is burning...

Stayed in bed the whole day on Sat...*boohoo* fever never really subside...throat very pain...ulcers can be seen at the entrance of the throat...*yucks*

Sunday, went to see doc again but this time round is sinseh. ZL met me up at the Outram. Had lunch at the newly renovated food court (erm the one near people's park/chinatown). Regretted ordering the hand-made noodle (does not taste nice) or may due to no appetite.

True enough on 13th, went The Cathay @ Dhoby Ghaut for a show (Firewall). Oh, have to say this, the service is superb ya...(wonder is it because its still brand new...)I wanted to go to the ladies and before I ask, the usher told me where it is located. While walking down the alley more ushers greeted me with a smile. And when I am returning to the theatre, one of them even follow me to the door and opened for me...good impression I have there!

We went Newton for dinner, didnt really eat though cos before that we had cakes and curry puff *opps its Tom yam Puff...hiak hiak from Secret Receipe. There is a little joke here...when ordering the cakes, ZL happily order a CURRY PUFF (But in his mind wanted a TOM YAM PUFF) and P without giving him any face said HUH? CURRY PUFF?! (cos if Iam not wrong, they dont have curry puff there). The already had-an-astonished-look waiter suddenly burst out laughing...Haa not to mention the three of us too! And the poor waiter got to control his laughter thruout taking our orders...haa...(Can you imagine the scene?)

P, who dont want to go home yet, suggest that we go for a pool session...after much discussion we headed to West Coast. While the guys play pool, me played solitare thru their handphones...haa

14th, attend class for the whole day. Haiz on a GOod Friday...Hmm no difference to me bah since my holiday already started on 12th...hee

15th, that is today, went CC...started to get crowded le, exams fever around the corner bah. Quite distracting with people talking and walking in and out of the room with the door slamming on and off. Packed my bag and went off around 5plus. A little conversation with Loos :

Me : Eh, when u wanna go TPY to make specs? I just noticed my lens crack, needed to get a new one. (Actually, thot of getting a new one but no valid reasons or rather excuses...haa)

Loos : Hmm...today, cannot...tmr? Or next week? Btw, what are u doing at CC?

Me : My exams in Jun mah...

Loos : Hor ya hor...(u need) 2 months.

Me : hur hur :P

I am kiasu what to do...*bleah*

Today is ZL's birthday...Happy birthday neh!

Still remember the task (Which my dear friends have already knew what is it)? 'Ta da...this is the combined present (as both occasion is around the near the same corner, save cost also hee).




As ZL is a super duper simple guy (other words 'boring' oops prepare for scolding...joking neh, dont be angry k)...there isnt any celebration today. Though he is on leave today, still needs to go back to office till 4pm! While me? I was out since noon le (I went SSDC, cant believe it right? Haa...for a person like me with poor sense of direction wanting to take up driving...Willing to give it a try cos I have companion (my colleague)...but who knows, I might give up after the 1st attempt of BTT? Hee)... Loiter around Habourfront...there isnt much to shop...which is a fortunate thing...if not I will end up with paperbags! Haa...Went Coffee Club and ordered a glass of Ice Earl Vanilla~1st time there alone~lucky thing is there isnt much people around.
Receive his call finally when I just reach Cityhall...dont want to leave the place empty so I bought biscuits from Marks & Spencer. Drop by the former Picturehouse, really look different, maybe will catch a show there someday (Have you been there? How's the theatre? Good?)

No posh restn or high-end cuisine for dinner but packed food from coffeeshop. No regrets ya...infact will feel bad if your mum is left eating alone at home. This is how I spend the 1st day of my leave...travelling around the island...

1 Year Old...

My apologies to Loos for sat...am able to accompany you when you finally have a decent weekend ya. Seriously, I felt bad...we meet up some dae k...

Being the 1st year anniversary, didnt really celebrate except for going for a dim sum meal at MinJiang Restaurant (at Goodwood Park Hotel). Ermm...it is really NOT that fantastic. Maybe cos I actually wanted to go for international buffet at Amara Hotel but haiz...not everyone can appreciate it. I missed the cakes~ Gals shall we go some dae?

No where to go after that...and you can expect that we headed to RO. One of the programme which I first laid my hands on~ firsbee~ sua gu right…hee its quite fun...but think it would be better if the space is big enough rather than playing infront of the porch and have to becareful not to throw too hard or far cos of the cars parked there.

Dinner was at one of the restaurant in Chinatown, which all of us didnt really have our stomach filled up. The portion is very small, we have to share the dishes (eg, tofu only 6pcs, have to cut half and share among ourselves, there are 9 of us. Oh if you are wondering why we didn’t order a bigger portion~tell you there is only one size). Service is also bad...there that will be the one and only time we will patronize the shop.

Afer that was back home, while the rest went for singing session.

Its a short week for me as I will be on 2 days leave! WoO~ counting down…

One of my colleagues gave us a treat at a Teochew restaurant along Macpherson road. They serve very nice food and got my fav dessert ~Or Ni aka yam paste~ its one of they ‘zhao pai chai’ too. Have to say this…they serve cold crabs...the crabs are cooked and put in the fridge to chill...for a person like me that dont really eat crabs also said its nice then its a must try! Hee... Erm...this restn is somewhere near the Mazda showroom...the appearance don’t really look that appealing but you wont regret stepping in.
