Greener Pasture at the other end

How is it like leaving a company that you have worked for for 9+years? I have the determination to leave, to explore the other parts of the 'world' but there is alittle part in me still...afraid...haiz... ZL say dont know what I am afraid of...since I still feel this way, why not continue to stay in the comfort zone? I dont want! I WANTED something different. There is a period of time, I felt going to work is meaningless...nothing to look forward to... At that point, I wanted to leave so much. And now...I have found one...But am feeling panaroid. I hope this change will be a good one...will not regret choosing this path...

A Day in Botanic Garden

As planned, we went to the Botanic Garden yesterday. We were so excited when we reach there...haa...fasinated by the gate! Its so beautiful!

The last time we went there, didnt explore much...this time round we make sure we put our footprints on every part of the garden...haa...erm not whole but at least most of it bah...Found our 'spot' laid the ground sheet and foods...and...begin to eat...haa...We shall have more of such outing hor...so near to the 'nature' hee...

Mid-Autumn Festival 2006

My cousin organised a gathering from 6/10~8/10. I was there on fri, after work. Haa so coincident that TwIn's friend hold a chalet there too! We met up a few times...do nothing but just chat/gossips and complain! We expect cousin H to reach after wedding dinner (cos intended to give a surprise birthday greetings) but she didnt turn up cos was being 'drag' to ktv by her boss. :(

Saturday's program was watching VCD in the room. We felt bad leaving aunt alone if we gone out to cycle/blade...nevertheless luckily my cousin bought the discs, if not it would be lagi boring. When cousin H (and her mum) came, we surprise her with cake! Start taking pics and headed to the Escape Theme Park. Hmm isit that the age is catching up~ I realised that I can no longer/dare not take those exciting rides. Both my cousins went ahead and I just stood at one corner watching them being spinned
round and round. Ha the only ride that I took is Ferris Wheel~ boring eh...haa moreover its a mini one! Ha...anyway the view isint great, cos it was covered by the haze. :(

The bbq food was fantastic! We have great chefs! Ha...hope that we will have more gathering, its fun!

Its been half a month since my last entry. Hmm...have been nuaing...Haa...not exactly...hmm...more like I have nothing to write. Ha...

Ok, some updates...Been to a few interviews lately, having been to the interviews, it really make me ponder, why do we still need to fill in the form, since our resume would have most of the info? I like those co that do away with forms...hmm but does it meant they are not keen in this candidate? Or is it their culture? I like interviewers who are straightforward, just tell me directly that Iam not the right candidate you are looking for...so that I can continue looking around...

Besides that, went for my 1st driving lesson on Fri...its only 1 hour, so by the time the instructor finished going thru the theory, the time is up. (Maybe my facial expression betrayed me *disappointed*) So he is good enough to let me have a feel of what is like being in the driver seat. Ha...Hmm...am abit worry that I dont pick up fast...U see Iam not a technical person...ha...controlling a moving object? Hopefully, my clumsy hand/legs can work well with brain.

Sunday evening was the first lesson for in-line skate. We have to put on the 'smelly-dont-know-how-many-people' used before gears. Ha...Hmm...we practised our walks on the grass and later on was asked to move on to the pavement. My~ walking on grass is alot more easy! At least there is friction, my feet/legs dont go one way or the other! Ha...Hmm...lucky there are grills on the drains if not I would have land up in the drains a few times! Ha...falling down is part and parcel bah...SO dont laff at me huh! (Anyway, until this moment, have not regret signing up...)

Twin asked why am I filling my time with so many activities...hmm...dont know lei...'eat full nothing do' ha...no la, maybe all the things that I want to do just happen to come at one time. But I like the feeling...the feeling of making full use of the time. *rolleyes*

Oh just read the 'Wan Bao' today...(ZL dont give that look ok...its 'ba gua bao' but it still does contain news k) in the entertainment column, there is this news : 'Jay's wax figure' (is that wat u call? Aiya 'la xiang') is in HK's wax museum now! WoO~ erm but I feel that its only 80% resemblance. Those of you who have 'Wan Bao' go and take a look, tell me what you think...hee
