Last weekend was a great one! Am looking forward to having steamboat dinner at Loos's place which was planned weeks before.
Due to class schedule on Sun, I have no choice but to arrange the 2nd fitting of the ROM dress on Sat...that means I will meet the gals later. But have never expect it would end up so late... further alteration needs to be done on the spot as we are running out of time. So waited for another half an hour for the seamstress to alter and try again. Also trying out tiara and necklace to go along with the dress. Then Judy was here, she is quite a chatty lady...talks everything under the sun. I only managed to leave the place around 3plus...
Steph asked me to meet her at Pan Pac cos her cousin from KL is here...now I seen her cousin before but just acquaintance. Hmm never mind as what she mentioned can put our things in the room then we shop for the groceries. While Twin and Loos is still stuck in the office.
She picked me up from the lobby and headed to the room. Hmm...her cousin was bathing, asked about her aunt...told me she went shopping...Then out of sudden, Twin and Loos jump out from the bathroom!!! My mind was totally blank at the moment. Aren't we suppose to have steamboat at Loos's place? Why are they here? Later did I realise that they have planned this plot a month ago...All these while I have been kept in the dark! *HMPH*
I really cannot get over...we had late lunch cum dinner at Cafe Cartel. Late in the night, we went to the poolside (Twin, also tricked me into bringing the swimwear...saying her sis needs it for gatecrashing...good eh u). Then was supper in the room accompanied with Sat movie.
In the wee hours, I was being interrogated with questions...lucky the gals didn't ask juicy or embarrassing ones...haa...4 of us managed to squeeze in the bed and doze off around 4 am...
I feel so bad having to leave early for class...didn't even join them for breakfast... :( I didn't stay throughout the class (which was suppose to end at 10pm) as Iam having fever and very bad sore throat... Though ZL kept nagging at me when he picked me up to see doc. But its worth it! Else I would have miss all the fun! Thanks gals for the wonderful memories!!! I still find something missing...the steamboat at Loos's place....haaa

White Lie
Was having my lunch at the foodcourt when this mother and daughter shared the table with me.
The girl is very cute...the mom left her with me to buy some food for her.
When she came back with a bowl of ban mian (u-mian) and started feeding the daughter. The girl replied that she wanted bee hoon.
Her mom told her its the same its bee hoon...taste very nice...The girl ate without protesting further... Then she pointed at my bowl...jie jie also eat bee hoon *I smile at them*... Mom replied ya...jie jie eat the same as you...see (other table) auntie also eat "bee hoon"...its very nice thats why so many people eating...
Hmm...I wondered will she remember this when she grow up...or will she mix up u-mian and bee hoon? :)

Its been 2 weeks since the removal of my mole...and its recovering well...hmm no scar at all...except that the color of the skin (reddish) is like recovering from a cut. Hmm..now ZL is trying his luck to get me remove the other one...Let me think about it...

Mid-Autumn Festival
Mid-Autumn festival is also my maternal grandma's birthday. Was at her place on Sunday...had a mini-celebration...with vegetarian food and cake.
Left the place around 6pm and headed to PS...Our target today is to get the wedding band.
Finally, one item off the list...at the same time $$$ also 'fly away'... Hur...more and more expenses coming up...
Oh ya, was telling Loos that I might go back to BKK in Nov after the ROM...but looks like its not gonna happen. Cos study come first...haiz...my revision class happen to fall on one of the day that we initially planned to go for a short getaway. Luckily, ZL is understanding enough...in a way, we can save that sum of money for future trip bah...

I done something today...which took me some time to come out with a decision...
I had my mole remove...though its not very prominent (cos its at the side of my face at the jawline) but its quite big in size.
The doctor...a man with very few words...didnt entertain me much...its either I do it now or wait till next time(which is dont know when)...Iam abit scare...cos not wholly mentally prepared...but if given time to consider, think I wouldnt do it in the end.
First he gave a jab to numb the area...then came the laser to 'burn' the mole...cos I can smell something burning...the whole process is less than 5 mins...fast fast chop chop...no pain at all.
Will be going back for review next month and will be doing the IPL.
Btw, I was taken aback when I see the doc cos he look very young...Maybe Iam expecting to see one old man sitting in the room...haa...then I got to know from my ex-coll that he is a father of 3! Gosh...maybe he knows how to take care of his skin especially he is working in this line...

This year is an exciting year...why? Hee... a lot of things take/took place...
For example, went for 3 trips this year (the last long distance trip was in 2005)...Japan, Bintan and the most recent one Bangkok!
Iam just too lazy to blog...shall refer you to loos site ...she has got very detailed entries and photos! :)
Last weekend, watched Wall E... nice animation...didnt know I will tear (when Wall E lost the memory that he had with Eva) even watching an animation (story about robots!)...Hmm...maybe Iam too emotional? or sentimental? As for ZL, he is being possessed by the movie... he will go "wwwallleeee" and I will say Iam "eeevvvvvaaaa"...haa
There after, we went Dempsey for drink and cake @PS cafe...nice ambience...but its a bit noisy...we were given a seat infront of this big mirror. Asked ZL to DTKC with me but he doesnt want...haa so he took a photo of me...
Sunday...met up with the gals...Gave RC a belated birthday treat at MOF. 1st time there...hmm I prefer Azabu Sabo...maybe we can go there on our next gathering. We went Bras Basah...(Art Friend)...saw alot of interesting stuffs that we nearly spend our money...hee...well in the end we left the shop empty-handed :p ...its nice to catch up with the gals...

Farewell dinners
Shortly after a farewell dinner for ZJ who left for Perth for training...we had another farewell for SJ who is leaving today for work.
How does it feel leaving behind love ones, friends and family for one/ two years staying alone overseas? I wonder whether I can adapt the change of environment and culture...

Went Club Med - Bintan over the weekend for company offsite (teambuilding)...
Left office in the afternoon on fri...we reached there around 4 plus...had late lunch and rackey the place on our own...took alot of photos...tried archery -- fun! Managed to hit the target at the 2nd attempt.
Linger around the bar area...the best part of the resort is that most of the drinks are free, activities are free too...they conduct all kind of lesson swimming, sailing, snorkelling, trapezee...sports hall and gym open 24 hours...they also have a non-smoking disco...very worth the price...but wouldnt go there on my own cos its consider quite ex...
2nd day, the event was held at the beach whereby we had all sorts of teambuilding actitivty...very tiring...body ache...To make thing worst, we stood for 3 hours for the presentations and speech by COO...I was being presented for a personality award "The hard solid rock"... someone who worked for long hours and did not complain...cant remember exactly...am too surprise to receive that... My boss must have put up the nomination...
3rd day, left for the first boat...only had 15mins for breakfast...have been eating well for the past 2 days...buffet spread of international food! Yum~Yum~ will miss the white choco bread very nice...

Supposed to meet Steph today, but she is down with food poisoning.
So ZL keep me accompany for the whole day after we signed the contract with Amara.
Bump into ZJ who live opposite the hotel..wish him bon voyage as he is leaving SG a year for his pilot training...
Headed to Suntec...bought 2 pairs of jeans from Levis Signature...I am very surprise that their jeans is price at $49.90! The material is abit thin though compare to the usual ones... And 2 pairs of shoes from Noda...Though keep telling myself...buy at BKK but ZL said they are nice BKK might not have these design...haiz...ZL u are bad influence...hee
Caught The Dark Knight at Eng Wah...nice movie...worth watching...dont know why feel abit sad about the plot.
Went Dempsey for ice-cream but the whole place is so packed. Ended up at Dome...bump into LE and her bf...as usual kena tease by them...(Sometimes, do miss the good old days in UOB)...

Yesterday was the last day of the MPW. I am glad that I took the initative to sign up for the workshop after recommendation from Steph. After attending, we found out how to deal with matters..be it differences in our personality, communication, conflicts, financial...that lies ahead of us. It is just the begining, we still have alot to work on...but am sure it will benefit us from what we have learnt.
Met up with Loos at Chinatown. We finally 'realise' our plan! booked a pair of tickets to Bangkok! Woohoo~ Our first trip together after such a long friendship...haa...hmm come to think of it we ever went Malaysia together... does that counted trip? Cos we did spend a night there. Anyway, without RC around it will be an enjoyable one la hor... haa...
Earlier in the afternoon, went Amara Hotel to check out their venue...heard about good reviews on their food...quite like the setting for dinner at the poolside but the slot in Sept has been taken up. Will be going Grand Copthrone Waterfront Hotel later... shall see how it goes bah... else we will go for the 2nd alternative date...which is in Dec...

Was worry that my bodyache and fever won't subside today...luckily it did...but my throat is very very pain! Even swallowing my saliva is pain! Hurr...
Went Mt Faber (Faber Rock) today...abit disappointed with the scenery...I thought it will give me that "WOW" feeling...but...considering its abit inconvenient too...probably give it a miss...
Luckily we still in time for the next appt at MBR, its the first BS that we visit (came across this shop sometime back, was packed with customers thinking that it must be very good, did a research online and so far all good reviews)...so check out what they offer...as commented they are not pushy in sales and not much gimmicks used...but would like to compare a few before committing with this one.
Rush back to fetch my parents for dinner at Sakura Toa Payoh...the place is so crowded and abit noisy...Don't really enjoy the food...probably mainly seafood (which I don't really like), besides we are all "small eater"... "lugi" to have dinner as buffet... haa...paid $26+ think we only eat half the price...actually should charge us child's price instead of adult hor...*wait long long*

Stepping on the same spot! AAarrrgghhh....when can we get this moving?
When for facial yesterday after my paper...enquire about IPL. $2888 for 20 sessions but its only for face...after much bargain they are willing to include neck and back without additional costs and throw in 2 sessions free! I was so tempted to sign up the package because its much cheaper than the packages offer by doctors. But bearing with what my friend had advised, not to sign up with beauty salons as doctors are more certified to perform the job. So I told them I will consider...and give them answer on my next visit. Hmm...wondering if they claim the effect is the same compared to doctor's one how can they throw in so many things free?

Exciting Ride...exciting night! Cheers for Loos!
Iam on leave from fri to next tues...suppose to be mugging hard at home... but I went out today! Ha... Met up with Loos at Bugis in the evening...had dinner and shop around...don't intend to get anything but ended up with a t-shirt from Levis that cost $20! Best buy! (Actually, Loos is the one that spot the shirt...simple & nice...next time I went that when we go out...hee)
I was given a ride today by Loos!! Haa... both of us...don't know the exact direction of the road...only had a rough idea... but still we managed to get it right! Journey was less than half an hour despite of slight traffic jam at the PIE/CTE...
We can explore other places in future le... hee...
