Very Tiring

Just came back from my grandma's house. Actually Cousin Ber suggested that we go KTV if our mum going Chinatown but in the end the programme is cancelled. I was so tire that I took a little nap there...Played with my little cousin, he is sssssssoooooo cute...we took turns to take photos with him...Hee~

Oh no...am going to fall sick le...throat is feeling uneasy...a little cough...Peeps take care of your health ya...CNY is around the corner...drink lotsa of water and have adequate rest.

A Day at MINDS

Having been asked so many times, yesterday was my first time there. Hmm...if you were to ask me did I regret for going...My answer is no. We reached there around 2.45pm...and started preparing tea-break for the members...I didn't do much actually, only sit or stand and watch...After that, we proceed to play basketball, soccer and captain ball. Iam not a sport person so can imagine me running clumsily here and there trying to catch the ball ya...Hee~tiring k...

The members is being released around 5pm and after that the volunteers proceed to a briefing and an introduction for the new comers...After that was our own programmes! Went Holland V for dinner...then Great World for bowling and Geylang for supper! Luckily, some of them drive...I have a fun time being entertained by one of the new comers, she's only 13 this year...very talkative lor...haa...they are all very friendly and easy to get along...hmm...heard that they will play a game 'open file' for new comers...hopefully am being spare the next time round...

*Yawn* Have to attend my colleague's son's 1 year old birthday today and there is dinner at grandma's house...better catch some sleep now...Nitez

What is the last job that will come to your mind?

Hmm...just finish entertaining a salesman...who is promoting his vacuum cleaner. Ermm...he came around 9pm and rattle all the way for 1 and a half hour. Showed us the basic function of the vacuum...and kept insisting that it only cost $3 per day! Ya ya $3 per day...don't think its cheap lor ...at least $3k...To convince us that the money will be well spent, he even use the vacuum to capture dust mite...haiz and kept asking "do you want to live with these creatures?" "I am sure you don't want right? So why not invest in one?" Blah blah...well well, we are not taken by that...I meant ya health is important but even if we buy it, will probably chuck it in one corner lor...To think that, we seldom spend time at home, even have the time, will just wanna relax...okie okie we do need to clean up, will just use a piece of cloth, or broom...vacuum is so troublesome.

After much persuasion, he has no choice but to give up...but before he left, he saw a few lightsticks on the table and guess what? He asked us "What is this?" "Can I have one?" Ermm...is it sort of compensation for him? "Okie, you can have it." Don't know he want it for what lor? BTW, Loos, the lightstick is meant for Fish concert one lor... Morale of the story? Its not easy being a salesman...that's the last job that will come to my mind...

Am I stupid or what?

Hmm...regards to work...I managed to reconcile the Ledger but in a long-winded method...gave it to my officer for approval...in the end...she corrected my errors...said its actually very easy one, why do I have make it so confusing for myself? Hmm...ya actually I thought of doing it that way too...but because am rushing for time and had no time to analyse...I meant afterall I still balance the account right? So what's the diff? Hmm...nevermind, I always have an impression that they took me as a gal without initiation...careless...blur...what else? Nothing good but bad...haiz...

Usual routine, went to other dept around late morning...saw 'baby blue'...I was on the way to take lift...and he's on his way there too...but was ahead of me. So in the end he hold the door for me...hee...nothing special but I get weak in my knees...TwIn said that's CRUSH...OMG fancy having crush at my age! Am too old for that ya...better leave that thoughts behind the back of my head! *tsk tsk* Anyway, think he went down for a puff! Heavy smoker sia, morning before work already had a puff...fancy having another puff 1 hour later! Haa...WTH what's my problem! People IGNORE me K! Iam going NUTS!

Happy Birthday Mama!

Happie Birthdae to my Mama! Hee~~~bought a birthday cake for her and had our dinner at Din Tai Fung (J8)...actually I was abit worried that they won't want to travel all the way there...hee...We ordered alot of dumplings~~~think my bros ate the most...keke...oh ya this is my first time trying their dessert~Yum bao~ very nice! like 'Or Ni', the texture is very smooth and the 'skin' is not those ordinary bao's skin...its dumpling skin! Hee~*slurp* and for this period of time till 28 Feb if you pay by UOB credit/ debit cards, they are giving free dessert~thousand layer cake~with a min $30 spent...hmm...*no advertising fee for this* hee...just wanna share with you guys...

Went Giordano, tried out a denim and a cargo pants (both 3/4)...actually was pondering which one to get, cos I like the colour of the denim but I like the design of the cargo..my dad says the cargo one is better...ya couldn't agree more cos its really comfy in it! TwIn! go get one for yourself ya! Comfy wor!

Went AMK today...while on my way in the bus, I recalled yesterday incident : was in the bus too...and just before the bus come to a stop, saw a young chap and an old lady in the middle of the road...the young chap is trying to help the old lady cross the road, but she kept pushing the guy away...and insisted to cross the road by herself...after a few struggling sessions...the guy gave up, the cars have to stop and let her crossed...hmm...sometimes old folks are just being stubborn eh? Or people are being too kind that some won't even appreciate their kindness?

Tour around Spore!

Woo~~I woke up around 11 plus today...hee~*sleepish smile*...Went Queensway with my bro...We decided to have our lunch at Northpoint foodcourt first...tried out fish & chips from this new stall~Paddy Fish Cafe. Hmm...I had fish & potato wedges...(3 slices of fish culet!) very filling ya! and it only cost $5.50! whereas my bro had fish + calamari + potato wedges...yummilicious! So people if you happen to be in here, go and try this new stall k...

I am surprised to see so many youngsters and young adults there...thought they are supposed to be in town...haa...well well...my bro didn't manage to get the shoe bag that he is looking for...and as for me? I bought a tank top...*pink* yeah...NO MORE PINK FOR ME K! I have bought 3 tops all pink in colour!!!

After that we took a bus to Bishan...dozed off~~too tired...and we missed the bus stop! So in the end, had to cross over and take another bus...haaa...actually we didn't really know our way too...My bro accompanied me shopping...hee...didn't know that he can be a patient shopper and even gave me feedback on the clothes that I tried...haa...He went back home around 6pm and am left alone...waiting for TwIn...haiz...meanwhile Lipbalm called asked me to watch a movie with him...*boohoo* luckily I got program liao...hee~

End off the night with dinner at Cafe Cartel and Kopi at Coffee Bean...*Sinful*

Chinatown~

Just came back from Chinatown...hmm...not really that crowded. Nothing much this year...maybe its still early bah...Oh ya...I know the name of that coffeeshop already! Its 'Ch**g Ji**g' hmm...why the name was sensored...cos I felt that the standard has dropped...even my colleagues said that too...but there's still alot of people waiting for seats...and ya they have extended their business to 2nd floor!

I saw Jay's concert album! Am going to get it! Giving off posters too! Actually am not that fanciful over the poster la~hee...cost $22.90 but my colleague said it might be cheaper else where..hmm...so he will check for me the price and let me know on Sat...haiz...if I buy today, will be watching the disc now man...haa....now gotta wait till ermm...Mon?

My bro asked me wanna go Queensway tomorrow? Hee~~I want! so happy he asked me out! Haa~~ya ya provided he is not meeting his friends ya...so am the spare one...haiz...eh but go there for what huh? Twinkle Twinkle Little Stars

Have you ever look up into the sky in the middle of the night? I always like to do that if am going home late at night...and will be happy if there's alot of STARS sparkling above me! It sort of end the night beautifully as if the stars are greeting me~ Today, while walking back home, as usual I lifted up my head, and see alot of stars 'smiling' at me...it gave me a calming feel~

Am going Chinatown with my colleagues tomorrow...too bad TwIn can't join us as she has make up class. As usual, we'll have porridge at the coffeeshop by the roadside...hee~don't actually know the name of the shop but the porridge there is very popular. Every year without fail we'll go there for dinner then 'kwang hua shi' along the stalls. Hee~still remember last year I bought my piglet slippers from there and lotsa of sweets...This year? Hmm...will keep you guys update! Hee~

Shopping Spree

Went Bugis, finally get to pass Steph's her xmas gift. I didn't buy anything from there...whereas TwIn bought a skirt! Levis outlet don't have the jeans that I wanted so we decided to head our way to Orchard...hur hur...upon reaching Heeren then that we discover my dear friend didn't bring her member card! *bang the wall* Hee...anyway the jeans is so ex! am still considering whether I should get that. Come to think of that I can buy at least 2 sets of clothes with that money ya...Managed to buy a tee from Forever 21. Oh ya I have to mention something that really pissed me off...went to URS at Taka, I saw this shoe and decided to give it a try...so I approached the sales assistant to get a smaller size (though I know that the chances is slim cos usually they don't have it, especially when their display is of a big size)...I just wanna try my luck...

Me : Do you have a size smaller?
Sales Assistant : No.
Me : What about other outlets?
Sales Assistant : Don't know.
Me (thinking of myself) : Oh well, that's a great answer ya! Then can't you take an effort to check with other outlets!? Need me to ask?! WTH...what kind of customer service is this!
Don't ever think I will patronise that outlet! TwIn actually thinking of buying the sandal but I told her to get it else where...hee...devil me...I am the consumer! I have the right to entitle to good customer service ya! I am sure everyone out there will agree with me. We don't just pay for the goods, we pay for the service too!

MPH Booksales!

Meet up with Loos @Paya Lebar, proceed to take the train to expo...its gonna be 2pm and we have yet to have our lunch! Hungry~~so decided to settle our lunch at BK. Walked pass the halls...wow and there's alot of people! There's Robinson Warehouse sales too! Expo is packed with people walking around with boxes of books...big plastic bags from Robinson! We just can't wait to join them! Haa...

My colleague Cel has organised a night out at KL's house tomorrow. The main purpose is to watch SHE's DVD! Haa...the gals actually wanna lend me theirs but I don't have a player at home...so Cel suggested that we watch it at KL's house. So sweet of them! Ermm...I would say its kinda weird though...hee...cos don't really know them well...nevertheless, its gonna be the three of us nia...so should be no problem ya.

Bought this month issue of CLEO, saw an advert on Haagen Dazs! WoO~~~so tempting! Ya ya...as you know FEB is a month for Valentine...they have come out with a Valentine's Day Cake! Nicely decorated with strawberries, raspberries, chocolate fudge and whipped cream! Oh la la~ and you know what? There's a new creation : their very own Teppanyaki Creation!!! Can somebody bring me one of these servings please! Thanks in adv wor!

Actually thought of buying the mat, but my aunt offered to lend me hers...keke...save money. So after her class on Tues, she will bring it over to my house so that I can use it the following day. Today lesson is yet another challenging one, we did new poses... easy and difficult ones...there's one...have to sit like how a jap would sit, then laid your whole body backwards, don't lie your whole body on the floor (arch abit), use your head to support, the weight is focus at your legs and head...try it...but must be carefully wor! keke...

National Library Book Sales

Met up with Loos for the National Library Book Sales...all books are going at $2 and a stack of magazines at $5!!! Whats more?! About 4plus, the announcer broadcast that 2 books of the same language is going off at $1!!! Wow!!!

I have to say this everytime there is a sales going on, it will always reflect a person's ugly side! Take for example today's sales, you can come across people throwing the books while choosing/ looking for what they want. What else? People bumping into one another without saying sorry...grabbed whatever they see then filter out what they don't want and not putting back into respective racks! I despise YOU people!!! Ain't we supposed to handle the library books with care?

Watching the RENCI charity show...the last part of the programme really touch my heart...can see that everybody is willing to contribute by doing their part...so do what you can to help the needy ya...

SHE Rockz

Just came back from SHE concert...tired and hungry...but am too lazy to fix something to eat...anyway, have already brushed my teeth. Okie, shall give some feedback on the concert...hmm...overall not bad but it could be better if the sound system isn't giving much problem! Their costumes are nice and glittering too! and there are dolphins for the gals to ride...lotsa balloons and confetti! Hmm...have to give a bonus to the gals cos they remain calm even though of the problems and even requested to sing the song over again. They ended off with 'Tong Quai' and 'Superstar' which sweep everyone off their seats!

Its Weekend FInally!

Yeah...the long awaited weekend is here again!!! Met up with my cousin Cor, Jo and her husband...the purpose? is the collect Zen Touch on my colleague's behalf. We had dinner at V8 and I ordered their specialty : Chicken Baked Rice~~~WoO~~~after that went TFS to buy top and base coat nail polish as per requested by twIns...hmm...look for something for myself...in the end I ended up with : a nail polish, ceramide mask sheet, blusher and a pedicare stone/ brush...hee...have to pamper myself ya...(Btw, I am accumulating the receipts inorder to become their member that means I have to spend $80 in a month).

Didn't really shop much cos my cousin Jo, have a stomach upset...anyway, my new shoe is killing me! Aarrgghh...regretted for wearing them today!

Oh ya...will be catching SHE concert tomorrow!

Yoga is fun!

{1st day of yoga}

Managed to reach the venue on time...the teacher/ trainer spent almost the half an hour talking...introducing yoga...the class is made up of 20 odd people...quite a big class eh. And I am quite surprise to see my fellow colleague there...He is the only participant that is odd one out, other than the trainer...such a sweet guy ya cos he joined the class with his girlfriend. To think which guy would do that?! To attend a course which is more popular and that majority are women? Nevertheless, I enjoyed the session today! And am looking forward to the 2nd, 3rd, 4th.....sessions....

Yoz...my accounting class should have started today...but alas, I didn't register myself for any of the lectures...ya not until I receive my results...(afraid that I flunk the papers). No regrets ya...at least I have more free time now...moreover I have also stopped giving tuition. The yoga class will start tomorrow...which I have very much been looking forward! Sad to say that I have to forgo the chance of catching up with my ex-classmates...hmm...Loos will understand ya...Hope you'll have an enjoyable gathering...

My mood is just like the weather today...Its been raining non-stop since this morning. It really dampen my day. Supposed to meet Steph to exchange xmas gift, but received her message saying that she's abit lazy to go out...so shall meet her next week then.

Hmm...Huiqing told me that she will be going Wild Wild Wet today...a thought come to my mind : with the weather like this did she cancel the outing? Can't do much on a rainy day ya, but to stay at home and nestle in my cosy bed, watch tv or surf net...maybe can clear my wardrobe later...

We have made a wish last night just after the clock struck 12mm...haa...Iam not telling, it's gonna be a secret...Witnessed the scene of the ships horning and giving off sparks at EC...Woo~~the place really changed alot! Alot of pubs and cafes...packed with people...

We went back around 1am and dilly dally awhile...Loos showed me a good "stuff"...haaa...Vodka Chocolate Mudshake!!! *Slurp* Nice nice...it only has 4% of alcohol content, suitable for those that can't take/hold alcohol level...hee...like me...After taking that, we hit the bed immediately...Zzz

We went Bedok interchange for breakfast in the afternoon...ya you didn't get it wrong, its breakfast...haa..but before that went to the atm to check my ERS...Yew!!! My account has been credited! and encountered an er xin sight...you guys know the fence near the atm machine? Imagine a man peeing there!!! Yucks!!! and Iam talking about peeing there in the broad daylight lor! With so many people opposite the hawker centre at the peak hour! Think he's drunk!

Went Bugis after that...bought a few Gio tees for my bros and myself...Hee...Loos also bought 2 and blamed me for causing her to spend $$$...haa...I didn't force you wor...after that meet up with my cousins, Dorisu and her sis at Teahouse...had a sumptuous dim sum buffet and caught the movie-Meet the Fockers . Piangz the person sitting beside me is laughing real hard lor! Very exaggerating, I tell you...think practically his laughter is the loudest! Nevertheless, did enjoy the movie! Very comical! Haa...I like the baby...especially his expression when he said 'ass----hole'...if you haven't see...go catch it k...but please please control your laughter..hee
