Went down to travel agencies yesterday to make comparison of the packages. Conclusion : CTC itinerary is still the best! 3 theme parks and not much visiting to factory. Has make reservation and will confirm the booking once my leave is approved. Yippee one step nearer to my 'dream'.

We know where to go if we have craving for Yummy Steamboat (located in JB)...ie Parkway Parade! From soup base to chilli, everything taste exactly the same! Except that the price is abit steep compare to having it at JB. PP has changed so much, so many eateries at the basement. We didnt really explore much...cos the shops were about to close after we finished our meal.

My body has been aching since the pilate session...alot of stretching was done...some of the pose is difficult than yoga...hope will progress better in the next sessions. GOnna rest at home today.

What a happening night!

Yesterday night out was with my ex colleagues. A group of us headed Grand Copthrone Hotel for buffet dinner...Hmm the spread was so so only... Only thing special is the baked salmon...(comes with pastr, hmm taste like puff bah...hee)
We chatted and was laughing so loudly that I think that we are the most noisy group! Haa...
We finally made it come true! Went to the hippest place in SG! ----> St James Power Station! When was the last time I been to such place? Hmm... cant remember le...anyway, you wont feel left out over there...cos they have all kinds of age group! Haa... My colleague who have been there before brought us around...when to a few stations...we stayed the longest at Dragonfly...went back home around 1plus... Its an eye-opening & fun night! They said we will make a second round there! Hee...

3rd week into my new job...still making mistakes hur hur...and to make things worst...Iam reporting to a lady who is very particular in very small details...OMG! Its getting up on my nerves. My intern said, this is only your 1st day in contact with her and you already cant stand it, can you imagine how the rest of the interns manage? Hur hur...I have to be more careful in my work and I must not be defeated so easily! Oh ya I have register myself for pilates organised by my company on every thurs! Wheet~ it will be held at the reception area...haa weird right? imagine people who worked ot walking pass that area! haa...

Met up with ZL yesterday for dinner. (Side track alittle thank you ZL for making effort to spend more time with me...even gave up his time with RO on sat just to accompany me but you dont have to do that everytime...I can find my own programme...I know you just felt bad for not doing so...)
I didnt go back after that...waited for my ex-colls to knock off and went back together...miss those days...lucky my office is still in the same area which enables me to meet them for lunch.

Will be going for buffet lunch at Royal Plaza on Scotts this sat with Steph...looking forward to it! Hee will take pics of the food(thats what I always do)~Yummy~

Its been a super duper long time since I last blog!
So many things happened. Colls leaving...teambuilding event...token of appreciation & farewell lunches...

I have tendered... my last day with ING will be 17th. Barely joined them for a year...sad to say I just got to 'know' my colls and yet to know some of them and wont have the chance to 'explore' more...Well, tian xia wu bu shan yan xi bah... the industry is small, we'll meet again one day...

Enjoyed teambuilding very much! Felt sad during the dinner...felt sad for leaving this big 'family'... Didnt know that some dept heads were so sporting! They sang songs to entertain us... Of cos the committee members were being sa-bo too! Haa we sang 'yue liang dai biao wo de xin' ermm dont know why they chose this song la... Haa...

Our very COO gave us a treat as a token of appreciation at Pan Pacific Hotel... My HR announced to them that I am leaving...some were shocked and some had expected it. Few of the gals asked why I didnt inform them, told them I wanna keep it a low profile anyway only joined them for 9 months so assumed that nobody notice me (a small fly) Haa... Dont know if one of the heads are joking but she said I have made a wrong choice.

My colls gave me a treat at Shangri-La Hotel ( Rose Veranda) on saturday. Hi-tea is very nice! The drinks are free flow... there is a wide variety of teas and coffees! Drinks alone is very worth the money! (Anyway, it cost $36+++ per pax)... Loos next time we go there k! The Line is also nice! Even more variety! but expensive $43+++... but its worth it!

Dept lunch at Raffles Hotel... Cant remember the name of the cafe... anyway, the service is very sssllllooooowww... they call it fine dinning... we had 2 hours lunch that day! For the first time, I tried goose liver.... erm lets just say, I dont know how to appreciate bah! Haa...

Oh ya... I have cut my hair! Finally, my hairdresser cut it for me after months of pestering! Haa...Now that I recall, practically have been calling her every month! haa...and each time I went she didnt wanna cut for me...till that day... 9th Aug...ND... my hair is very short now...

Stop making yourself feel miserable! Why let others affect your mood! Stupid Gal!

Going back to office tomorrow...Just got to know that one of my colls has resigned. She is one of the pioneer there...and we can say that when we encounter problems, go to her and she is able to solve it. I dont know what will become of us when she left... Not saying that we cant ask others but they might not be as approachable as she is. And you know what? We need to give 3 months notice if we tender. Oh mine?! 3 months lei...siao right? No wonder one of the new comers left before confirmation...

Anyways, tomorrow is also my last driving lesson with Mr Yeo...overall he is quite humorous...and talkative...hee (provided when his mood is good la). And I am sad to say I still havent master my parking skills well! How lei?! Another instructor Mr Hap's temper might not be as good as Yeo's.

Btw, we have dropped off the idea of going Ho Chi Minh due to the limited flights. Sad...we are now looking at Bangkok, Phuket and Bintan. Currently, Bintan is in favour! Abit disappointing...

I know its a big far from now... My colls and I are taking part in the JP Morgan run (which is in May)! Hee...today the cordinator took some (sample) t-shirts for us to order.

Today some big shots came over from head office..and we are supposed to go down and greet him...He offered his handshake to everyone...gave his speech...somebodies asked questions...(I thought this kind of scenes can only be found in Japan organisation?) Anyway, no harm getting to know afew important people eh...hee

Its friday again...feel like going out today...but nobody is available...so I went for facial instead.
The consultant nearly con me into exchanging two of my sessions for one of those 'diamond' facial...

Me : Why need to trade in two sessions?
C : Cos the diamond facial is expensive...
Me : How much is one session then?
C : $135...

Thinking to myself my one session also not cheap what...Cant remember how much is the 2nd package that I signed (cos its very very long ago). But I still remember the very first one that I signed...if 2 together will be $176! Then I lugi lei! Told her I want to stick to my original package...dont want what diamond facial...Haiya then u knOw la...she went on to say, its good...helps to absorb more water content into your skin...your skin is so dry...blah blah...please lor everytime I go there u say the same thing...I know my skin is dry! Thats the nature of my skin what! Think they cant be bother with me, cos after the facial no evil consultant waiting for me to promote their packages...haa GOOD!

Early in the morning, my big toe kena 'buah' by a guy's shoe! Dont knOw what brand he is wearing...piangz pain lei...'saw my skin came off abit'... Pissed me off...

Received a phone call asking for ZL...dont knOw why these people kept calling my number instead of his lei? ZL must have gave them my number so that he can save money on his phone bill instead! Hmph!

Boss sent out 2 mails recently, regarding annual leave...How to clear leave when this month, he only allow us to apply on either 12 or 13 for that week(other dates are not allow)? FYI, there are 8 of us...

Hee...had my eyelash permed today! The effect is nice! I like it! The gal say it will last for 2 months...hmm quite a short period hor... The gal at Fave Nails is quite attentive and patient...most importantly she is not aggressive in selling/promoting their products. She recommend one eyelash strengthener (something like mascara except that it is transparent in color) which cost $50! Told her, I dont need that for the time being...and she didnt continue or give me attitude. Like her service, think I will go back for eyebrow trimming...hee

ZL, second day le...U not bored meh? My phone is always available wor... :)

Hmm...should have been on leave this week...only if my leave is approve...haiz. ZL is on his way to Macau (yes, alone and dont know how many times le)...Since he has complained that phone bill always increase when he is overseas so we have come up with something (at the (total) age of 20*1+20+19), haa...we will not call each other for this week...the first one to call is 'wu gui'... SO childish...He should have spend a couple of hours or perhaps one day there le...and not even a phone call yet...wa very perservance lei...Thot he will be the first 'wu gui'. Haa...hope I will not be the first one...

Happy Birthday

Went to watch Happy Birthday on friday. The plot is good though the flow is quite slow. I like those panio tunes too. I think we have kena poisoned by the movie. Haa...Rene who is lack of confidence prefer the relationship as friends slightly better than good friend...after the movie we have been quoting that..."we shall be friends slightly better than good friend"...so Loos...you wont hear any ring ya...*wink*

Today, had a hard time finding my ex-coll's house. Stupid me...the block is 469A but I kept looking for 469D there is no such block number lor! No wonder no matter how many times I walked around the block, I still cant find it!!!! Arrgghhh!!!!

Went Raffles City, saw the Donut Factory...the queue is damn long! Wonder isit really that nice? compare to the one at Taka? Anyway, think I will probably get a chance to buy it when there isnt any queue.

Why me?

Last week only worked for 3 days as the rest of the 2 days I was on Access course. After that I have been doing ot...hurr...think its the payback thing...Moreover, its the end of the month...got to do a few reports...supposed to meet my cousin last fri to celebrate her birthday (actual day) but cant go...*paisei* Cousin Bernice also didnt turn up as she was sick. We decided to get her a present instead.

Received boss's email, that Iam being nominate (is a nice word to use, in another its arrow) to be a part of the teambuilding committee. First thing on my mind was why? why me? I dont want! I would rather be a nobody or to just attend the activity thats it. Dont want to be so involve. In the previous company, nobody wants do such a thing...they would rather sit back and wait on others...but here? I cant say that anymore...I have to be vocal...on...active...enthusiastic...Actually, Iam afraid I cant do well. I dont know many people there...hmm take it from another way, it will be a good exposure for me.

Last year, they went BKK...this year dont know what plans they have. My colls were suggesting HK...hmm I am thinking of Cambodia...(after looking at the photos from one of the bloggers and my friends who been there) find that its also a nice place with good food. Shall see how it goes...

Typing this post using the new version of blogger...very interesting...now I can set it to private...and a few new features to play around with...have you upgrade yours?

I have learnt something today...Maybe its too late for me to find out...or have I been well taken care of? In this company, you have to be so called do everything on your own...cant wait for people to wait on you. Take for example, submit of training course form...nobody will tell you how to fill up...and nobody will consolidate the forms. Previously when come to submitting of forms, me and my excolls will wait for each other. I would say its abit selfish here.

Today's lunch was on one of my colls, who got her confirmation. We went to New Majestic as per requested by boss. The food there is fantastic! I like the dessert! Yam puree with almond cream! We went to this cafe (its a nice place but quite out of the place) for drinks after that. Apple strudel is nice! I wanted to take photos of the food but was too paiseh to do that...We spent 3 hours of lunch time today! Nevermind cos we have got boss around too! haa...

I went jogging!!!

Bought a new trackshoe few weeks ago, finally get to use it today.

I was told to change my lifestyle...and I have to do something...for good.
Cant believe I actually went jogging right? Well, me too! And I have to stress this...I went ALONE. Haa...U know how I hate to do things on myself but sometimes there isnt a choice. Asked my bro if he wanted to join me but he just came back and was bathing so forego that idea. Did mention to my aunt (when she called) that if she ever go jogging, do ask me along.

On my way home, drop by CC to pick up the course schedule (Oh my cousin ask whether am interested in hip hop dance course...hmm I dont mind...sound interesting...haa)
Actually, I am more keen in pilates...but I have missed the commencing date again! Next would be kick boxing...should I join that instead? Hmm by looking at the name give me an idea that its a strenuous exercise...Till then, looking for more jogging sessions!

I miss my straight hair

Though my hair is not consider very straight...but I sill prefer that...with natural waves...though on some days I might have bad hair day...haa..Went to perm my hair yesterday...and I look funny...haa most probably cant get use to it. Feedback from my colls and friends is that I look ok...some said better than previous style...hmm...but I still cant get over...haa

Think am not going back for the highlights/colour...cos am afraid it will further damage my hair (with those chemicals) and to save $$...

Went to collect my new IC today...its nicer than the old one...(am not talking about the photo here, is the plastic that am trying to describe)...it has a small circle 'photo' insert other than the usual passport size...erm diffcult to tell...maybe can show you the next time when we meet or ask around, who has got the new ic...haa

Oh they have a few stalls selling cookies for CNY at Raffles link...having had a filling lunch, my stomach does not allow any of those samples :( ...haa maybe tomorrow...its the period of going Chinatown and have porridge again! keke...

Definition of lunch

Lunch to me is just a break from work...an hour to fill my stomach with food. Lunching alone and sharing table with strangers means nothing to me now. I go anywhere I want, eat whatever I feel like. Occasionally, I do treat myself better, eg buying drinks/snacks after the meal, if not ask coll/excoll to join me. Was thinking, since we have the smoking and non-smoking zone, why didnt people come out with eating alone zone? Haa...*see, Iam too bo liao to think of that* Anyway, I am not complaining...eating alone sometimes is good...no need to think of what topic to say, look for seats is easier, listen to people gossips/complain about work...heh
