Last dae of Year 2005

Ya...its the last dae of the year...Have you ever stop and wonder what has/have happened in the year that leave you with a very deep impression? Well, usually I don't but this year...I decided to mark down the events cos time really flies that before I can stop and ponder upon what I have done, its yet another year gone by...its so so scary...Hmm...so here it goes :

Feb - join RO as a volunteer
Mar - got promoted *nothing big deal*still being paid peanuts*
Apr - found somebody who treasure me *blush*puke*
May-Oct - 'nightmare' at workplace
Sep - attended cousin's wedding
- went BKK
Nov - attended best friend's wedding
Dec - happy that my friends & cousins celebrated my birthdae together
- shifting of office
(of cos there are some other memories like, celebrating birthdays of friends & love ones, which are yearly affair thingy...that I wont forget.)


Oh and have set a few resolutions not forgetting wishlist too (again, usually I don't do that cos it never been enforce, but I hope it WILL BE next year!)... :

- change a new job *which I have been talking/ thinking so so many times*
- be more outspoken *but what to do? My character is all along softspoken*
- be more hardworking and attain good grades *very diffcult lei, Iam so lazy*
- save more $$$ *though am not spendthrift but dont know where my $ gone to*
- be less temperamental *rolleyes*
- talk like a 'normal' person *rolleyes*

Oh ya the 1st resolution, hopefully I can acheive that cos I quite like my new office! Die le, I dont want to stay on just because of these--->Nice new environment, one stop nearer to my house, more varieties of food...I DONT WANT!!!

What have I been doing these past few daes? Hmm...busy shopping for presents ya. Yesterdae we had a party during lunch in the office and we even have some of our fellow colleagues singing carol...xmas mood eh. Isn't it funny? Haa...after that was lucky draw and I won a Mini Compo...thanks to my colleague ya...actually it was his but he wasn't around so they decided to draw again. And they were teasing me that the prize came along with him...Haa...I have to share the prize with him...owe him a kiss...blah blah blah...*so paisei*

We got to knock off early at 4.30pm, went home to put my things and went out with M, P, JT and N for dinner cum a show The Chronicles of Narnia...Hmm...find it nice but JT fell asleep! Hmm..have to say it is quite long-winded...whole thing lasted for 2 hours and 20mins but it seems like 3 hours! Haa...

Lost for words...

Was pondering whether should I go for the dinner tonight organised by Steph...in the end after afew 'consultations' and thoughts...I went.

Hmm...thot the rest will be there but in the end, including myself only 2 bridesmaids and a guy turned up...the rest is her cousins...Saw the photos, nice sceneries...*envy*envy*...I wish I can go there too! Oh guess who I saw...A** at the restaurant! We didnt acknowledge each other...hmm...so surprise to see him working there...

I received my belated birthdae present and xmas present...She bought it during her honeymoon...and am sure it must be very costly! A necklace and pendant from Swaroski and LV wallet...OMG!!! I would be happy enough even if she was to buy a souvenir from there... So shocked to receive that...TO think that I once...twice...thrice...complaint about her...hur hur...what kind of friend am I?! *UPSET*

To add on...I am not a LV, Prada, Gucci, Ferragamo, Burberry...blah blah person...cos I won't splurge that kind of money...

I am not smart...I am lazy

After one paper, I don't have the 'mood' to study for the other one...holidae mood la...Was msning with Twins that dae...

Today is the 1st paper...Business Tax...is easy but sad to say I don't really know how to do!...What a waste! Can only blame myself for not studying hard enuff...

Met up with my cousins for dinner at NYDC...four of us actually (or rather initially) and was puzzle that the staff gave us a 6 seater instead...asked my cousin why they gave us so many seats and she just brushed it off as "Can put our bags mah." Hmm...ok...

As Cousin B is late, we decided to order our food 1st...was having our meals half way when she joined us and shortly after that...Loos and Twin walked in...Hmm...was really surprise to see them! So...so all this was planned...the 6 seater was not given for nothing...haa...not for us to put bags! And Loos even ordered a mudpie with candle on it and they sang me a birthdae song *So Sweet* We chatted for a few hours before bidding goodbyes...I am really happy todae! So glad that I have such wonderful friends and cousins! Loos, Twin, COusin B, J and C, you gals have made my dae! THANK YOU!

Still remembered one year back...Loos made a special arrangement with 1 of sec sch friends to meet up on my bdae...you are always the one making our birthdae to be memorable and unforgettable...but me in return didn't do anything special...*so chan kui* YOU ARE REALLY A TREASURE...

Nightmare

Taking a break now...very hungry grabbed 2 slice of bread and was chewing away when Loos called...Told her about my dream last night...that I got mixed up with the exam dates! And this morning my phone alarm rang to remind me the exam date...I double checked in case I set the wrong date...silly me.

Listening to Jay's album and recalled something...that day my colleague was mentioning that Jay 'so-call copied' a tune from one of the korean songs...and she was trying to 'dig out' the evidence from her mp3...practically the whole moment was talking about Jay and my phone rang...with me answering "Jie Lun ar..." Opps...Haa...I can't help but was laughing at myself...and Poor M was like "sad? disappointed?" Haa...Imagine long-distance call and this is what he heard on the other line...so sad...I didn't mean it and felt bad...But you know sometimes your or rather my mind/brain doesn't work well...haa...my signals to the nerve is slow! Hopefully it won't happen tomorrow!

Short Month

In sort of frustration or was it depression mode recently...I don't know...just feel that all along the person I have knew has change...or I am the one that has changed? How come I didn't notice it? It took me years to realise that...Or is it that I am SENSITIVE? It adds up to one more point that I should leave...

Have been ot-ing and staying until wee hours in the office lately to clear up my work before I go on leave. This month will be a short one...14 working days (minus my blk leave and weekends)...hee...but don't be happy yet...cos I can see more OT hours waving at me already!

Met up with M to take the 'tu-chan' that I specially requested...yummy 'Wife Biscuits' and Portuguese Egg Tart. I don't really fancy egg tart but they are different! Flaky pastry...filling does not have strong eggy smell...hee

Few more days left for revision...and guess what...I haven't touch on every topic...another depression...don't want to say more...just hope it will be over soooon... *Ling signing off with exams bluesss*

My Best Friend's Wedding

Yesterdae, was my best friend's wedding. The dae that all of us are waiting for. Still remember that during school daes, we promised to be each other's bridesmaid back then. I am really happy for her that she has found someone (who promised infront of 200odd people that he) will treat her well and will treasure her forever...the groom is none other person...he is also my sec sch's classmate!

This is the fifth time as a Jie Mei but only yesterdae that did I realise getting/ preparation of marriage isn't easy. Or maybe this time round my task is heavier? Hmm...have to remember this and that...Make sure that everything is fine and proceed on smoothly...C and I didn't loosen up abit during the dinner...We were making trips to and fro between the suite and the ballroom, together with the bride and groom. Assist her to change into her outfits. Hee...the groom even mentioned as though they were running a concert!

Reached home around 1, had a hard time waiting for the cab outside the hotel. And the taxi driver sound hostile...ok nevermind, I try to keep my cool ya I want to return home safely k...bathed and gave M a call...but don't know what am mumbling cos already half dozing off...Haa its really tiring but it is a memorable one! I am really happy for the both of them! And is glad to be part and witness of my best friend's wedding...

I am not trying to imply anything. Please dont get the wrong idea.

Threading

Before I start, have to mention this...Haa...yesterdae met Mr M for dinner @Bugis and while crossing the road we saw the Tofu car! Haa...then I asked "wondering is the driver Jie Lun not?"...Hee of cos not la! *Wu liao me* Just want to make some effects...hee...Gee didn't realise that there is a dessert shop located among the shophouses. I had 'Hongkong Style Iced Red Bean' *Yummy=fattening*

Finally, I had a 'taste' of the threading! (After dropping by the shop a few times...its not because I back out at the last min...cos the 1st time, shop was closed...2nd time, waited damn long...) Today, am at the shop early...hee to make sure am the first one...in fact too early that the shop has yet to open. So settled my lunch at a kopitiam nearby...returned back...still close...called the lady just to make sure that she is operating business today. Waited 10mins or so...finally the lady came with her maid... Not much words was exchange between us. Asked me to go into the room and started to apply powder on my brows...Then came my horror moment! Its damn painful!!! Worst than using the tweezers! The feeling is something like having my legs waxed! *OUCH* But the effect is very good(amazed that thread can remove hair)...Hmm...the pain is worth it bah! Haa..."Ai mei de nu ren"

Dream on

After the 2 holidaes...What is there to look forward? Hmm...Steph's wedding (18/11)...exams' (7 & 14/12)...Richard Clayderman's concert (17/12)...Moi bdae hee...and not forgetting Xmas!

Was talking to Steph's last night...about her wedding dae...and RIchard CLayderman's concert asked if am interested. Well I don't mind...still remember that I went to the 1st one which is a couple years back...his music is so captivating...


Hmm...how to celebrate Xmas this year? Knowing that there is very slim chances of getting the chalet during super peak period (22/12-25/12), I still went ahead to send in my form for balloting. Hoping there would be miracles...hur hur...the result : I STILL DIDNT GET THE CHALET! Oh nevermind, at least I tried. I know it has got a month more to go but I very much look forward to this dae...cos can shop for presents! and party! Haa...not just that...the mood is different too...*Dreaming mode*

Determination

One must have determination in doing things! Don't let any factor hinder your decisions!

I bought Jay's album le! Went to 2 Sembawang stores and the CD are sold out. Luckily Mr M found it at some 'rural' place hee...furthermore it comes with the poster! *Only pre-order gets the poster.* Hmm...anyway, what I need the poster for? Haa...Discovered something, the song that Loos sent me that dae wasn't in the album. Hmm...maybe he didn't record it inside? I have set it as my ringtone...Hee sounds unique especially if its not inside the album. OMG! I am having 'Jielun fever'! Ignore me!

Today's the first dae of RO camp @Pulau Ubin. The guys must be happily heading off now! Hope they have an enjoyable time!

Short Week

This week is a very short week...only work 3 daes. Tues a public holidae, the ROvers went ECP for cycling and dinner at Harbourfront. Suppose to join them for dinner but am feeling sick so in the end slept throughout the whole dae! My oh my...waste my precious holidae. Hur...

Today, am going to stay at home again but probably meeting Mr M for dinner in the evening. Gonna make full use!

Headache

Went GYM (@Bugis)...planned to go home after that. But this thot came to my mind...why not I buy the dress today so that I can stay at home the whole day on SUN? Hmm...So I decided to take a quick look at the shops in Bugis...but nothing caught my eye...So I headed down to Orchard...had my lunch at Mos Burger...then proceed to Heereen...The only possible shop that I can think of is Daniel Yam (or is it Yen?) Nevermind~ Anyway, tried a few...and quite like one with a simple design of two layers of chiffon overlapping one another...and it cost ($93plus can)...so expensive! How many times do I get to wear it? Hmm...its really those 'quite formal-meant-for-dinner dress lor)...hmm...let me consider ya...

Hey, then I was thinking, why not look for the silver sandals instead? That shouldn't be a problem...Ya ya...a very simple designed one cost a freaking $60! OMG! If I were to buy both of that, will cost me a freaking $150plus!

Then again, come to think of it, its my best friend's wedding...once a lifetime...will I not want to be the best for her on that day since am one of the bridesmaid? Hur hur...but both are way too over my budget... :(

Mood Swing

Is this what working life is about? Taking up others crap? Effort not recognise by superior? Hmm...maybe that's part and parcel...have to live with it...Or choose to leave it!

Will be on half dae leave tomorrow and Fri...what will I be doing? ---->Going home after that to revise on my notes. Don't have enough time le...2 papers...and I only concentrated on 1 paper with only 20% completed...siao~ Loos asked me about going to Cheer's concert...Am not really keen but I don't mind going if the ticket is cheap (the price is cheap)...but in this case I don't have the mood...Mayday also having concert...wanted to go (but not in the mood again)...my classmate is going ALONE...and she even bought the expensive ticket...*wide-eyed* Really 'peifu' those can watch movie or concert alone...I can never do that... *sulk*

Boogie Nite

Yesterday, was at Marina Mandarin to celebrate my company's 17th anniversary.

The theme was 'Retro'...everyone is encourage to dress up their 60s. My colleagues bought a skirt for me (and we wore the same design but all in different colours...mine is pink!) hee...

We are allowed to leave the office earlier to get prepared. Reached there around 5plus...Oh didn't know the hotel have been revamped (toilets and lobby have a new look)! We were given a room but it was quite small...so we went to the toilet to do our make-up instead. They have big big mirrors and their basins is very special (aiya forgot to take a pic)...

The dinner was not just an ordinary dinner...its full of fun! and really an 'eye-opener'! VIPs were being invited to play mystery numbers and 4 feet on the stage and oh boy I have to say the event organiser and the committee members really did a great job...We have to be in the dance floor in order to be qualified for the lucky draw (I got a $40 Taka voucher) hee...
Other than the usual draw, we have a special one sponsored by MC and VC 2 $1000 cash travelling vouchers but too bad I didnt get! Hurr...Overall, all of us enjoyed the dinner!

Hidden Reasons

Yesterdae, one of my ex-colleague asked me out for lunch. Hmm...was sort of delighted at first (read on and you will know why)...Thinking that its so nice of her. I asked E to join us.
Shortly, into the middle of my meal...she started talking about courses that she took...some facial thingy (in short some enrichment courses). Mentioning that there will be a leadership camp somewhere in late Oct. Asking me to go...and kept telling me its fun! I should join!...blah blah blah...that kind of thing (you know)... Come on! Though I am abit interested in the facial courses but please lor, you don't have to be so aggressive right? I will go on my on will! I don't like to be force! (Who like to be force for doing things that they don't like right?) You might doing this for your own good (networking or maybe you have commission by bringing in more people) but your tone simply pissed me off. If you were to ask me out for lunch the next time...sad to say I might hesitate whether or not I should go...

Holidaes over...

Hee...after the long awaited (cum going-thru-all-the-hassles-to-plan) Bangkok Trip is over le! Its fun and have a great time shopping and eating over there. TwIn is right...its a shopping paradise! Loos is right too...300sgd is not enough!

30th Sep 05
Reached the airport around 5pm...just in time to check-in. First time taking budget airline (Tiger Airway) and heard that its free sitting. Was surprised that it turned out to be 'quite' organised. I managed to get a window seat...hee...
Beverages and food have to be purchased inorder to be consumed. And its quite expensive! A mini bar of choco cost $2! Small can of juice also $2...Instant noodle about $3 or $5(can't remember...) Anyway, we reached our destination after 2 hours of flight. Its only 7plus and the sky is already as dark as if its 8plus. Left our things in the room and went out for dinner. The taxi-driver took us to a restaurant (Somboon Dee) @Phayathai.


01st Oct 05
Went Chatuchak in the morning...like what I have heard...the place is HUGE! Its being divided into sections...And we are like don't know where to start from or which lane to go...hmm...but I think we have missed out quite a number of lanes lei...cos we are only there for about 3 hours. After which we left for MBK...
The night ended with a foot massage at a parlour near the hotel.


02nd Oct 05
Last day of the trip, went Siam Center but was too early and the shops are yet open. So in the end loitered outside National Stadium (BTS). Bought a few hairclips from a lady whom mistaken me as a Thai gal...*hmm*
Have myself a manicure treat! and because of that I lost 100baht! Aarrggh all because of the nails...they are not very dry yet and I didn't really stuff the money into my pocket!
Lunch cum dinner was at the same restaurant that we went on the first day. And something embarrassing happened. Was quite 'urgent' and needed the toilet badly...'zoom into' the cubicle without noticing that the door is actually spolit! I was locked inside! Luckily, I brought my phone in...called Mr M for 'rescue'...*paisei*


After that was back to the hotel to pack our things and leave for the airport. We are early and guess what! The flight is delayed for an hour! We are stranded at the airport for 3 hours! Was so tired by the time I reach home...Zzz

Gonna shop till I'm broke

WoO~Counting down the daes to holiday...still got 3 more daes! Just went to change 300SGD into Thai Baht. (Loos, u think is enough?) Hee...brought out the travelling bag from the store just now...but haven't pack yet...still can do it on fri itself, anyway my flight is in the evening. Gonna bring an extra bag to put the stuffs...hee don't know will be big enough not...*Oh boy feeling so excited already* hee...3 more days...

Was on half day today...A last min thingy (Cos was asked to clear my leave slowly...so ironic right?)

Went Harbourfront to 'fetch' Mr M who only knocked off at 3pm. Then took a bus back to Orchard-Singpost to collect the Swatch watch (courtesy from DBS Mr M). Deciding whether to catch a show or KTV...in the end we decided to go for the latter...hee reason being its been ages since I step into the lounge. Thought it would be boring if there are only 2 of us...but it turned out to be the opposite! Haa...we actually sang non-stop for 3 hours!

After that went PS to meet Steph and the rest of her bridesmaids. Her cousin who is the organiser briefed us on our roles...what we ought to take note and do on that day. We are also required to dress pink in day time and blue at night. OMG! I don't have a blue dress lor...need to spend money again...on top of that, have to pair it with silver open-toes sandals! Sometimes I wonder..Why do 1 have to set restrictions? Not everyone is suitable/have a liking for that particular colour mah...hmm...when it comes to my turn (if my turn really comes) I think I won't want to set restrictions for my 'ah yees' lor...its so mafan...but Loos, you gotta put on a skirt at least lor...haa...*me in daydreaming mode*

I am just a nobody...

Since you already said that you are tired and wanted to go home then why bother to ask me where I want to go? Btw, that's your first intention. Isit my fault to say 'No' when you offered to go my house? I just wanted you to go home and rest. Of cos, I will feel sad or unhappy but that doesn't meant I am indecisive right? I don't want to force you to do things that you don't want/like. Am I in the wrong for doing that?

Busy Weekend

I am going to pack my bag later...no, I am not going for a holidae. Infact, am going Cousin Jo's house! Hee...Its her wedding dae this Sat. I'm one of the 'ah yees'. This will be my fourth time...hur hur...heard there is a limited times for doing it. Hmm...I have another one in Nov wor... :0 Haa..you can say that am quite 'experienced'...

*Sheesh* We are near to wearing casual but was not approve by HR. Anyway, I have been wearing quite casual on fri. So what the diff? haa...so so envy those that are allow to wear jeans not only on fri but on any other daes too!

Grumpy

Told my colleagues that I NEED/ AM TAKING leave on 30th...whether they approve or not. Then as usual, they came out with all sorts of excuses...questions...prompting me to say the reason for taking...just 1 day...so diffcult meh? Don't care, am going to apply and go for a holidae! Been to NATAS fair just now...nearly make a booking to BKK! But was too ex! $400plus for 3D2N @ a 4* hotel. Haiz...who say can find cheap deals in the fair?

Rainy Dae

Went for my colleague wedding today. Was raining like crazy when I step out of the house. LE's bf picked me up at Admiralty Station. Saw a few familiar faces...those that still with the company and those that have left. Its always seems like a 'gathering' for us on this kind of occasion...hee...

Yesterdae, was being asked to go back to 'work' on a last minute thingy...Cos my colleague was sick and have to stand in for her. Quite an experience for me...the BCP ended around 2pm, but I didn't go home straight away...hee...went window shopping with E @Tampines. Mix Feeling

Todae, witnessed another colleague leaving. Recently, quite a few of them resigned...for a better job...or to pursue their dreams...Yesterdae, got to know that the other colleague is going for an interview too. Hur hur...what about me? Nowadaes, my work can be done within half a dae...What about the second half you may ask? Well, I don't know...just like that 'hun' over lor...Can't go on like this...How How? Look for a new job! If you don't like it, change it! I must do something! But but, I will tend to compare 'this and that' and will still feel that my current company is better...What should I do?

March of the Penguins

Went to catch that movie yesterdae. Hmm...1st time watching a documentary in the cinema! Haa...I would say wait for the VCD/DVD to be out bah. The show lasted for 1 and a half hours. But very informative! I discovered alot of things. Penguins travel from all over the places to meet at one place for mating...Being female population more than male, those without partners will fight among themselves. Eggs are 'hidden' underneath in between their legs. They have to take turns to keep the eggs warm...have to becareful one little mistake make, their effort will be wasted...(Eggs become frozen within a few minutes) They have to beat the icy cold weather...some small chicks can't survive the icy storm...(so sad)...and the female will 'snatch' others 'baby chick'...They have to becareful of their predators while hunting for food too! Even their small ones can't be spare from the 'big bird'...thats the life of the penguins...

A year...

Time really passed so fast! It's been a year into blogging...Sometimes will browse back on what I have written and will go like this...'ohh...why did I write such things?'blah blah...and laugh it off...

Was on half day today, went facial with Cousin Jo and met up with Loos for shopping spree. (Lucky all the 'activity' carried out as per planned, cos was feeling feverish yesterdae). Hmm...fully utilise my leave ya. Btw, there is something I want to mention...Delifrance at Orchard has totally changed! (Or was it that I haven't been there for very long!) Keke...there is people showing us to the table...food being served by the waiters! They offered quite a wide variety of foods (besides sandwiches)! Start from appetisers to main course and finish it with desserts! (Salads, soups (1 that amuse us Mushroom cappucino) pastas, pizzas, steak, fish & chips, icecream with waffle, icecream sundae...blah blah) Don't have the 'Delifrance atmosphere le...Maybe they have to do it that way inorder to survive from threats of relevant competitors bah...Anyway, we ordered fish & chips and pizza plus 2 drinks...overall cost $30plus best of all WITHOUT SERVICE CHARGE..hee..I wanna try others the next time round ya. *slurp*

Yippee!!!

I cleared my Law paper! So happy that I don't have to re-retake...Can concentrate on these 2 papers for this semester...Told Mr M about my result...

Recap for the weekends...

Sundae...went Mr M's house to collect the 'Tu Chan' and presents that he bought from HK and Macau. Not much photo taken during the trip...hmm...if we gals went ar...sure alot of pics one...hee...Came back home to put the stuffs, then went Queensway Shopping Ctr to buy trackshoes. While I bought a small cutie size waterbottle. Dinner was at Holland V...for the famous XO Beehoon...reached home around 11pm and still trying to deceive myself that tomorrow (which is today) is SUNDAY! Haa...

Saturdae...went RO alone :( ...Had a fun time during IP. We made 'phones' using plastic cups...enjoyed talking to everyone using that...hee...After the lesson, we rushed down to Kim Seng for the bowling session. Mr M reached just in time for the game. After the competitive session, we won the game! Supper was on TY...we went to one of the coffee shop somewhere in Clementi (I think) which sell pratas. Its the first time I had 'tissue prata' ...hee...hmm...very tiny and crispy doesn't taste like prata...keke...hope will have the chance to taste others...banana prata, banana & cheese prata, cheese prata blah blah...

Have you ever wonder what will happen if you didn't make a certain step or decision in life? Will it be different now?

Went Cambridge Market for lunch today with a few colleagues...saw one of my co, who volunteered to give us a lift back, though he is on leave today...(So kind of him...) In the car, he mentioned that he is going to fetch his wife later...I was thinking would I live a different life now if years ago there is room for us to develop...hmm...am not saying I regret for the path that I have chosen...but am just wondering...What if I have...I might be missing out all these that am going thru...having a heartbreak, learning to be independent, growing up from setbacks, taking up course...meeting Mr M and new friends at RO...anyway, am contented with what I have now...hmm...or could it be better? Hee...one is never contented with what he/she has? How contradicting! Anyway, things might have changed...people might have changed too...me? Hmm...change for the better...

Yesterdae, after RO asked Loos out for dinner...We had Mos Burger! She saw quite a few familiar faces there. Hee actually 2 only la...One of her friendster's friend and that Lijun who was one of the Superstar contestant. I only managed to catch a glimpse just when I realised and turned my head around! Anyway, am not a fan of hers...

We bumped into L and one of the ex-Silians...I saw her couple of time @Novena...hee and wasn't sure if it is her untill yesterdae, I finally got the chance to confirm! Haa...

We were sort of attracted to the tarot card reading that a man was providing outside Taka...waited awhile but decided not to...hmm...its kind of 'open' bah with so many people walking and some looking...hee...

Todae, went for class till 1pm...waited for Mr M @Wisma. He is late again...hur hur...I was like only waited for 15mins mah? But I can't help it that my face turned BLACK...sorry...knowing that although you have tried rushing out but still late.

Went M1 shop to pay the bill so that can enjoy the $1 thingy...Bought the GV tickets, settled our lunch at 81 coffeeshop, the food there is nice!*slurp* It leads us to the topic of...food @coffeshop is simply cheap and delicious but I don't like to walk past coffeeshop cos sometimes alot of 'se pek pek'. Added on that some people don't like to dine there, cos its non-aircon and got cats...hmm...think we are leading too good a life bah. After that, went back home to fetch my cousins for the show...aiyo, don't know the young one enjoy the show not...cos he kept moving here and there...standing up, squading down...hmm...maybe the front part is too boring for him...hee...until the visiting to the factory that attracted him bah...till now you have any idea what show is that?....Yes, its Charlie & the Choco Factory...I still prefer the storybook!

Its another weekend!

Weeks past by so fast! Before I realise its another weekend liao! Maybe cos this week is a short one bah, only work for 3 daes.

Met up with my sec sch classmates yesterdae...to celebrate RC's birthdae cum gathering. Good to see the gals but everytime there is little sparks to instigate the atmosphere...hmm...things really are different now...maybe cos all of us are working unlike sch daes...well people change as they age bah...

Dinner was at Sketches...hmm...overall the food is quite tasty...maybe am not very particular...haa...but the service is abit bad though...sent us the bill even though we didn't ask for it! No choice maybe they need the table for other customers. So we left for Starbucks. Ordered a Frappucino Choco Blended Cream with whipped cream! Fattening boy! and 2 slice of cake (New York Chicago Cheesecake and Bitter-sweet Choco Orange. Loos took a pic of that). The staff over there is very helpful! Think is the manager bah...he volunteer to decorate the cakes with wordings after knowing that its for the birthdae gal.

Went back home around 10plus...as usual there will be a 'follow-up' after each gathering...hee

A break from work

Was on leave today, to attend to some personal matters...shan't say much here...

Reached home around 3plus but was out again around 4plus to meet M @Bishan. Intended to keep me accompanied till Steph reach. Its about 7pm, 15mins before I meet her...we are still walking around...when someone infront called "Oi Oi!"...haa...its her! Got a shock at first cause didn't expect to see her yet...Nah that I was not doing something hanky panky but was just not prepared to let her see me with M. M left to meet P for dinner and some planning on HK trip...*rolleyes* simply 'sin li bu ping heng'...

Anyway...we spent 2 hours catching up...hope everything will be fine for her...

Holiday Over

Happie 40th Birthdae Spore!

I intend to wear a polo tee today...SInce its National Day...so grabbed my PINK one out! Hee...my friend even teased me, how come am not matching it with a white bottom. Nah that's too obvious! Haa...

Went GYM with Loos and bought RC's present @Bugis. Didn't expect that we settled with her present so fast! Thought will spend some time looking around...hee
Walked around Bugis Junction...nothing much actually...bought a photo album, tee from bossini but both are not for myself...20cents wrappers and a set of fanciful pencils...found a place to rest our legs at TCC...my first time there...simply love the potato wedges dipped with cheese! Discovered that they offered more varieties of drinks and the price is also steeper than the rest of the cafe...

Actually intend to meet M but am too lazy and besides HE IS STILL SLEEPING, he is too tired cos this week is on morning shift...hmm...I watched the fireworks from my corridor (the open field is so crowded, better stay at home ya)...the view was not that fantastic as it is partially blocked by other blocks...hee...nevertheless its better than nothing...

As usual, went RO on sat...topic for IP finish VERY early. So in the end, we sang "Ai Guo Ge" as NPD is around the corner...hmm when is the last time I sing that? Well, luckily some of them still remember! Haa...After dinner, took a cab down to esplanade to catch a glimpse of the fireworks! Yeah!!! very nice...haaa not forgetting the bonus view of buses and truckers swizzling pass! Haa...cos u see we are at the opposite side of the road!

Sunday...went Jurong Point, that idiot M so near his house yet LATE!!! No choice have to shop around 1st...Intitially wanted to look for a pink dress for my cousin's wedding but bought a denim skirt from Pepperplus instead. Lunch was at the foodcourt...walked pass Anderson Icecream and was attracted by this cake...hee...In the end, you know what happen... *slurp*

Piss off with Bossy-type of People

I just don't like the way they talk...that kind of tone...instructing you what to do and what not to do. C'mon am not a greenhorn liao...at times, you ought to let me make my own decisions and do it at my way! I just don't understand...why can't you just mind your own work...if you have tight schedule why do you still have the 'time' to do others' job!!! To me...you are just afraid of being left out...every little minor thing also need to be updated! But I guess every company has this type of people present bah! Then again, come to think of it without them work might not be able to carry out...how contradicting!

Exam Dates

Saw the dates on the noticeboard...7th Dec and 14th Dec. Should I feel relief for that? 2 papers are a week apart...giving me sufficient time to prepare...but how am I going to apply the leave? Don't know can apply for more than a week not... :(

Kukup Trip

Went for a break away from the city @ Kukup over the weekend...Well, we reached there around 2plus, it was drizzling then...but it didn't dampen our mood at all. Left our things in the room, played cards and sang KTV...rackey around when the rain stopped...took afew pics...hmm...practically I spent most of the time EATING! ya...eat for the sake of eating...*hee* why? cos am not hungry and the next thing you know...meal is ready when the time is up...It is well prepared by the local...even BBQ the food for us! We just have to get our hands dirty by removing the prawn and crab shells! Loos...am sort of disappointed lei...cos I didn't get to see the STARS! Pathetically only TWO lor! Hmm maybe due to the cloudy sky bah...But I did see some fireworks! Hee...that (sparks) counted as stars mah? Next day morning, we visited the mangrove and kelong...then had our lunch at the restoran and headed back to the bustling city again. My co asked "If given you a chance, which one will you prefer? A life in a laidback environment or bustling city?" Me? I chose the latter...cos I can't imagine living in a laidback environment for long-term...but if am old or retired that would be a different issue...

Yesterday was a tiring day...we started the race around 11plus and reached the finishing point around 5plus! Hee...thanks to Loos who is standingby with her pc logged in to SBS website! Haa...luckily a few groups of us happened to go to the same checkpoint as our first stop...so we moved together. Hmm...there is some misunderstanding in the middle of the race...and M is quite pissed off with 'somebody'...I was too disgusted by 'his' behaviour...hmm...shall not say much over here...but overall did enjoy myself...

Hmm...this afternoon, P needed M's help on some software thingy so give me a life to his place. After that, he left for office while me and M went to grandma's house. Little Cousin is so cuuutttee...he knows how to crawl liao...climb here and there...have to look after him closely...*heee* We took afew photos with him...waiting for Cousin Jo to email me the pics so that can load it here...hee

Tiring day

Hmm...going to class nowadays is sort of...should I say boring? Especially during break time...nobody to talk to...worst still when you see groups of people talking...ya, although its just a 5-10mins interval...but can be real lonely man! I can't stand that feeling! Hee...but it will never be the same the next week. Well, it all started that I forgot to bring my notes and this gal beside me take the initiative to share. So I made my first move by asking whether she want to sit with me next week! Haa...desperate or what? Hmm...at least I have company for one of the days. *wInk* Btw, saw this huge Charlie & the Chocolate Factory poster pasted at the whole stretch of the wall at the Somerset MRT. *So excited!*

Trial Run

Hmm...nervous as I was...I tried to be calm...Getting the members' attention is quite difficult and have to speak or rather shout loudly in order to make myself be heard. *lousy...I feel so helpless* But then again, it will train my confidence in a way or another...After dinner, the rest went for bowling/ ktv session while I headed back home to finish up my homework...*boohoo* sat ended with staying at home doing homework! Hmm...everyone is busy lately?

Class start this week...Financial management & control and Tax...trying very hard to catch up after taking a break for so long. F&M is interesting where there is alot of computation whereas Tax is abit dry ( I hate theory!)...but who knows...its only the first lesson...hee still early to judge bah...

Last weekend, went for a haircut...its not obvious! In fact, it looked messier! (All thanks to Mr M, was complaining that my hair is messy should trim...Gals gals...we know that haircut on rebonded hair will lead to hair being curl here and there right? That fella don't believe me! Hur hur...) After that went over to his place (this time round for real, cos have been saying for afew times already)...Auntie and Uncle quite friendly and soft-spoken...hmm didn't really talk much...took some photos for fun (too free nothing to do...haa)

Kite-flying @ Marina South

Its been donkey years since I last fly a kite. And the feeling is good! Seeing the kite soaring higher and higher up into the sky. We had a singing session too...the members really enjoyed themselves very much! And feedback is they like to have more outing in the future!

Today's father's birthday...bought a few dishes back for dinner. But he ain't in good mood cos mum nagged at him just now. Hmm...was hidding in his room after he bathed. Mr M left after the dinner, to meet P for a movie (ID)...Loos, we MUST watch together k! *wInk*

Summary of this week

Completely no life...have been ot-ing most of the days...left the office at 11.30pm(latest record)...I can't imagine those that need to work till wee hours.

Met up with Loos on Wed...thot of catching ID but no tickets left. Nevertheless, am happy enough that we took quite a few pics of the ID poster at the underpass!

Watched Wars of the World today. Hmm...storyline so so bah...abit scientific...don't really understand...hee...some even left half-way thru the show.

8th Year Anniversary

Yesterday was my 8th year anniversary with my company...Wow~it seems like a blink of an eye (hee is that the saying?)...time really 'fly' pass without us realising how FAST can it be ya...

Cancelled my facial appointment inorder to stay for ot. Heard from my colleague that MNG having sales...since hasn't been shopping for so long, I asked my co to go with me. Headed our way to Orchard...targeted at MNG shops but its so crowded and the place is so messy that we decided to give up. My co's shoes was even spolit when she was pushing and squeezing her way thru the crowd! In the end, we landed at FEP, bought herself a pair of new shoes...hee...luckily both of us managed to buy a few clothes there if not will be such a disappointment.

Decided to call it a day, but one thing came to my mind, was to check out the Levis store at Lucky Plaza (actually am abit lazy, but am glad that I went...hee) bought the (white)polo (last piece!) which Mr M was searching high and low for...hmm quite satisified with my spending trip today...*grin*

My poor little toenail

E asked me to accompany her to Bishan cos she need to buy her digital camera. I asked her to wait for me till 7.30pm. Reach Bishan by 8pm, was walking too close to this man...and accidentally kicked his shoe. *Ouch* something is not right...faster check my toes...aarr half of my toenail came off...next thing I know...blood was oozing out and staining my sandal...faster went to the toilet to clean up...E gave me a plaster but it was of no use...it slipped off after a moment...If I were to stay in the office this would not happen right?

Stress

I used to complain my work is so little...but now...I am not overload. Just that I have ad-hoc duties. Within this month I must complete abstracting figures from 3 months reports...Though I do ot practically almost everyday...I am still unable to complete the task. It seems to be endless...My co has finished hers but she didn't even volunteer to help me...*sob**sob*

I am SICK!

I am of SICK of work! Our plan nearly carry out smoothly but I can't take leave at the last minute! Don't understand what the purpose of urging us to clear our leave and yet set restrictions! "Cannot this period got to do month-end reporting, and then there is quarterly reporting, I need to clear my leave..." (because she has tendered her resignation letter). What has all these got to do with me!?!? As if my presence in the office will help out in the reporting? That's not my portfolio! Is it because you can't go on leave and you forbid me too! Haiz...what's the point of grumbling over here? Voice it out! Ya, I did but in vain...

Me: Aiya, its always the case lor, this is not the first time my leave is not approve.
Co1: Eh since when we didnt let u go? You went on block leave recently what.
Me: That you don't have a choice mah? Cos I took it for my exams.

I share the same sentimental as you (loos). I can treat my friend real good, they will always be the first priority when compare to boyfriend...Thinking back I tend to become emotional easily or unnecessarily towards Mr M (did the same thing to EX, think that's my pattern bah). That's very bad I know...hopefully I will change...but am too pamper le...he give in to me most of the time...and as time goes by I will be taking things for granted...I don't want that to happen it will be unhealthy for a relationship...Havn't I learn from previous lesson?! Went RO today...played childhood games...hmm don't really remember the steps (eg five stones and hopscotch)...come to think of it, those were the games that we used to play during recess time...haa...went off early today for the art therapy lesson...hmm...quite fun...we did alot of hands-on...Zzz very sleepy...time for bed nitez..

Well well...I was sort of happy when I look at the first page of the question paper...cos the questions look familiar to me...haa...maybe cos its the 2nd attempt bah...haa (or was it that am well-prepared *bleah*) but as for the section B...I have a real headache choosing 2 out of 4...hmm...hopefully can make it this time round! Went Novena to meet my colleagues for lunch as we are having a farewell lunch for one of my colleagues. Just came back from Northpoint, hmm...don't know what to have for lunch, in the end bought a box of kueh kosui from Bengawan, a packet of chips and a family bar size choco! WoO~calories is more as compared to a proper meal ya! A terrible thing happened outside the Cold Storage...I witnessed a daylight robbery! It happened so fast that no one knows what to do! City of Chocolate~Gone

Supposed to go to the chocolate buffet thingy today. But my colleague who went to the event yesterday asked me not to go down. Its such a disappointment! Heard from the way that she described. The chocolates is those packet-like-choco (unknown brand somemore) and there is not much variety too! We are gonna write in for refund!

Meet up with Loos instead, @ Bugis...bought a cd (The sound of Music) for my colleague. Hee...7bucks only...(compared to$21.90). Had our dinner @ Long John Silver...the food there is not nice...won't go to that outlet anymore. Walked around Bugis Junction, we were very fascinated by this shop (M/Industrie...hee if I remembered correctly) anyway, it sell Mickey Mouse apparels...I have the sudden urge to buy the t-shirt...haa...just to get the paperbag! Its very nice! Haa...hor Loos! Endure k...we go there shop again after my paper. Yeah! Long weekend is around the corner! But sad to say I will be staying at home...hur~ Hmm...except for the Big Walk thingy and class on Mon...Haiz...Mr M is going for a short trip with P without me!...Hur~Envy envy~

Just now went Toa Payoh Central for dinner (@ one of the coffee shops)...hee...me and K sort of fated ya...often see her there. Went NTUC, didn't really want to buy things at first. But saw this Prego having some promotion on their new sauces which taste quite nice. So bought a bottle (Chunky Garden-Mixed Veg) with a packet of sphagetti and a packet of tidbits. Went Lee Hwa to buy some necessaries too...Hee...boy the 2 bags are heavy, luckily I brought my "Maria" along...haa...*so bad of me* Just kidding ar...

Ya that's what am feeling today. I ate so many things during lunch. Had Chicken & Mushroom HorFun, Mac's ice-cream cone for desserts and honeydew to top it up. OMG~hee... What's for teabreak today? HN's birthday cake! WoO~ That will contribute part of my fats ya...hee~

Anyone heard of the City of Chocolate thingy? Well, I am GOING! wOohOo~ It's sort of a chocolate buffet thingy starting from 22nd to 31st. Have to buy tickets for the event. My colleague is getting the tickets for me...any chocolate lovers out there interested? Hee...tickets are available at Outram or FEP.

Draggy Dae

My revision class starts today...there are 6 sessions and you know what? There will be 2 sessions today! WOo~ 10am~5pm!!! Something happened in class that really piss me off. By right we should register for the class...but this LADY sitting beside me just came in without doing so. How do I know? Cos she didn't sign the attendance book! WTF! I am really damn piss off lor! I paid $200plus for it and she attend for free! Luckily, she didn't borrow my notes to photostat if not ar...$%#$$

Lunch time~ TwIn met me...hee...if not I think will be lunching alone. Went back class and continued the second half of the lecture...hmm time passes quickly today. Probably cos occupied myself by copying down the notes bah...*hee*

After class went RO, joined them for dinner. On the way, saw many familiar faces...its so good to see them...that kind of heart-warming feeling...Thought the comm meeting was in the afternoon. But in the end...piangz ended around 8pm...Dinner was at some nearby coffeeshop. P wanted to buy curtain so we left the group first...too bad Ikea close liao...me actually wanted to buy ice-cream but last order was at 9.30pm...hur hur. M and P thought of going JB for leg massage but it rained heavily so we decided to head back instead. That's all for today, nite nite folks...

Yesterdae was Mother's Day...How did you spend the dae? I was at my grandma's house as usual...hee~this time round there is something more to look forward...that is to play with my little cousin~ he is so adorable! It's not fridae the 13th today, and yet things are not going smoothly for me...hur hur...early in the morning got 'scolding' from my despatch guy. The mail that he delivered yesterdae didn't reach the party...boss asked me so I have to check with you. I know you have been doing these for years already...don't have to shut at me right? I also work for a living...*sulking* In the end? Have to rephotostat the whole stack of docs and send down the report by myself...ya ya...thanks to my colleagues chided at me to make me feel even worst! Happie Birthdae to LE...she was on leave today. But came back a while to present us....MUFFINS!!! from Shunfu Mart at Shunfu Road (they have one stall in Tanjong Pagar too . ~Yummy~ Its cheap and taste delicious! Hmm...about $1 each. Highly recommended...hee~

Sick

Have been coughing for weeks...Mum asked me to see the chinese physician today. Hur hur...that means need to go all the way to Outram~ Message dear...told him am going there...Replied me saying he will keep me accompany...Hee~ so sweet of him ya...shouldn't be coming out today...need to rest at home cos he is working night shift this week. Nevertheless, we meet up at Outram Mrt and took a cab there. Had our lunch at the so-call hawker centre whereby most of the stalls are closed... :( After buying the medicine, took a cab to Chinatown hawker centre... (tell you the cabbie damn attitude lei...don't understand why some drivers still ask go by which route when they already know the way there? Cos we are not familiar that's why we take a cab mah...you asked us we also don't know how to ans you... *rolleyes* luckily am not really piss off) ...hee~ due to the unsatisfaction just now...we had our second round of feasting...Chee Keong Fun~Yummy~ We even bought some back for our families...Hee~ Volunteered to send him to JE and took a train back by myself...Reached home...around 2plus and still haven't get myself started with my notes! Hmm...since its a holidae shall give myself a break...ya ya another lame excuse *rolleyes* Went Ps for a show ~Divergence~ starring Daniel Wu, Aaron Kwok, Ekin Cheng and Luo Jia Liang...WoO~ all good-looking guys...hmm...the show actually lasted for 2 hours! Quite draggy but story wise quite unique...Finally had my bite of cheesecake at Secret Recipe! Yummy~ but don't really like the base...it used oat biscuits instead of digestive ones...hmm will go back again to try other cakes! Hee~

Yeah! Went to watch Xxx2 today...Seen part 1, I still prefer Van Disel (is this the correct spelling?) as the lead actor...coolz....hmm but the black guy is not that bad la...if you like action movie...can consider watching this...

After that, he suggested that we go Chomp Chomp (again?!) Hmm...but I don't mind cos the foods there is yummilicious~slurp~ We asked P along...hee....can order more varieties...hee...carrot cake~stingray~rice dumpling balls~actually not much ya...most importantly sugar cane juice! After that he sent both of us home...so nice of him~

TIme for Exams

Ok ok...I should be starting for my revision liao...had enough of slacking time. I won't be going RO from this week onwards...gonna miss the peeps there~ Hur hur... Know what? I just did a stupid thing... I actually asked him to stop calling and meeting me for this period of time till my paper is over. STUPID right?! Farmboy Chicken Salad~ Yummilicious~ The ladies sitting beside us even asked what is the name of the salad! Hee...thanks to TwIns that recommended it to me...Like it alot! Salad with lotsa ALMONDS!!! Hmm E have a bad dae at work...she don't seems to enjoy herself...sulked throughout the night...I told her "Hey come on man! You are already off from work...so whatever happened don't let it ruin your weekends ya!"...why make yourself so miserable...think so much for what ya....others still carry on living their lifes...

Waited for M to knock off...(actually abit regretted for doing that cos E left me around 10plus and I loitered around by myself till 11plus hur hur...)...As the night fall...it get crowded and crowded with peeps...hmm...not much entertainment in SG ya...can only catch a show or soak in cafes or KTV....We watched ~The Wedding Date~ hmm...its about a gal, hired a male escort to attend her sis's wedding with her....and they are supposed to pretend that they are a couple....expected ending...they fell in love...not much advertisement on this show...hmm...shall say watch it if you have time to spare bah...

30th Mar....as usual went down to 6th floor to pass some docs to my colleague...saw L when am on my way back...she congrats me...without me realising...there's a hand sticking out of no where....offerring a handshake to.....L!!! 31st Mar...went to watch 'The Eye10' with P and N...its quite scary lei...Hee...N used her shawl to cover her eyes...me? I used tissue paper...P must be laffing at us...haa...After that he sent us back...reached my blk around 10plus...but we chatted till 11plus...Hee...luckily M called, if not P will be still continuing talking...he really have alot of things on his mind ya...

Uncertainties???

Colleague called me just now...said that she finally felt relief after the 'whole' thingy...She has been thinking alot over the weekends...life is so unfair...hmm...but she's happy for other co...cos even if she get it...she won't feel any better(haiz long story...tell you gals when we meet up ya) ...heard that I got it too...hmm...not sure yet...cos the letter is not release yet...no big deal ya...only bigger sense of responsiblity...more workload...and the pay is still PEANUTS!

Went TPY with N to collect the extra batt and she trade-in her phone...meet up with P for dinner...oh gosh! didn't know that he actually volunteer to accompany N...haiz..am such a big bulb...shouldn't have asked N to meet me...Hmm...every time when my phone rings or beeps, P would look at me...with the facial expression "Is it M on the line?" *rolleyes* Even N noticed that...and asked "eh, why u keep looking at her when her phone rings huh?" Yeah its Good Fridae! Feel like as though its sat todae! Long weekend! WoO~ Am going for a haircut and probably rebonding later...like what my friend said...my hair needs grooming~ Haa...

This week is a short one for me...only work for three daes. Yesterdae, went for a course 'Quality Awareness' @ Tampines... My company is preparing us for ISO900...*hmm*... After that, met Loos for dinner...walk around...actually wanted to shop for birthdae presents but didn't see anything nice and most important thing...I have no idea what to buy! Since most of the shops are closing, we went Mac for a drink...saw HN...aiyo...we were talking about her in the afternoon lei...haa...was telling Loos...she changed her hairstyle and things like that...haa...sure enough Loos get to see her!

Went back around 11pm...tire but its worth it! Loos....though I meet you less....but you are not forgotten k! Hee~

Open File

After the RO session, we went Esplanade for dinner. My first time there at No Signboard Seafood Restn...hmm...we seldom splurge this much...but cos its N's birthdae...The food is yummilicious~we waited quite awhile for the crabs...after that we went Millenia Walk for coffee but too bad the shops are closed...So in the end we sat outside....and the 'Open File' session commence shortly~actually the questions are not that terrible as to what I think it would have been...feel relieve after that...finally over...

Meeting @ Funan

Todae supposed to meet them for an informal meeting @ Funan's Mac...I walking towards the building reluctantly...We set the time at 7.30pm but guess wat? I reached there around 7pm...Very early eh...haiz...called up the rest, hoping that they would reach early too...but but...all of them is still in the office...Didnt want to go Mac alone...so sneak into Watson...bought a french manicure set and some sweets...hmm...spent $$$....bought unnecessary things....

7.30pm~ Walked into the building...eyes darted here and there...looking for the Mac...thought its near the entrance...piangz still got to walk all the way in...*rolleyes* Find myself a seat...waited for the rest to come...should say, am relief to see them. Was being brief for what has been done the previous years...and what do we want to achieve for this year...hmm....really lor....I dont think am able to do that alone...cos am NEW! Hur hur....the rest got to help out ya...or maybe I can do the supporting...hur hur...thats me! I am lack of confidence! No matter what I do...in terms of work...studies...I dont have it! Help~

Around 10pm, we called it the dae...conclusion? We'll have an ice-breaking session this sat...am supposed to come out with actual plan and email it to one of them...hur hur...asked linn for suggestions...oh boy...she contributed alot of ideas ya...thanks gal!...more ideas are all welcome ya~ So peeps do me a favour can? 2nd Dinner w Weird Guy

Went out with my co, her bf and friend tonight. Hmm...lets call him K bah...He initated the date. Went Sakae Sushi and Spinelli...this time round, he talked alittle more and responsed faster...even 'suan' me...cos my co said he got a 'lecture' from his friend after that first outing...keke...(the guys actually wanted to go chomp chomp for the special dou hua that I mentioned its nice) but the gals are just to full...so decided to head home...

MYG Family Day cum Minds AGM

Was supposed to bring my cousins to the movie ~Winnie Pooh~ yesterdae...but in the end decided to go RO instead...So have to trouble my aunt...hee...luckily she's willing to bring them there.

Family Dae was organised by ACJC. Hmm...a few project groups gathered there...Oh btw, its my first time there...the sch is very big! They got running track, tennis courts, swimming pool...a super gym! and last but not least a pool table for recreation activity! WoW~ Even the badminton hall is air-conditioned sia! Ok ok back to the topic...We played captain's ball, sing-along session, played musical tables and art and craft...The activites were very well-organised by the students...and was a successful one ya...We took alot of pics too for membrance...hee...

It ended around 6pm...and we headed back to RO, to drop the members at Redhill MRT...After that was chalet at CDANS. First time there, the chalet is quite cosy with a small living room and 2 bedrooms...the furnitures are quite new and looks clean too...hmm...maybe can consider booking one for occasions...hee...Just before the AGM, we played a little game...~Pat a shoulder~ Anyone play this before? Well, its my first...hee...everyone has a piece of paper pasted to their back...then we are suppose to write a short note or words to describe that person...Hee...ya we sure have fun doing that going around writing notes on post-it and pasting it...Hmm...What others think of me? Well, I have most of the compliment as 'sweet', 'gentle', 'good potential', 'approachable', 'friendly' ...blahh....haa....come to think of it am 'flooding' already...haaa....*thickskin me*

Meeting starts right after that...(was nominating and the voting time)...new committee was formed...and I was being nominated for 2 posts...AS (Admin something) and IP (Intergated program) hmm...I didn't really wanted to take up any post cos that would mean more commitment and furthermore am still new to the organisation....but after some persuasion and consideration I took up the post of IP...but of cos am not running the post alone...there are 3 other volunteers to help out...so we sort of formed a committee among ourselves...hee...they even joked that we are 'Spring, Summer, Autumn and Winter'...I hope that we'll achieve something out of it...lets work together closely in future ya! For the new volunteers, we have a quick induction in another room...hmm...by then everyone was so tired already...but it isn't that draggy afterall...headed back home after that while the some stayed overnight...

Last sat, went to Fish Leong's concert...its a romantic cum touching one...am sure those that went will agree with me. Tears welled up in my eyes when she mentioned about her dad...so sad...Had a wonderful night that dae, though should say it ended quite late...Spent the night at RC's place...felt abit bad that her husband got to sleep in the living room...He even volunteered to buy us breakfast the next morning...Recalled on that dae incident just make me...should i say 'shudder'? Hmm...maybe not that serious bah...but don't know why...everytime when RC and XR engaged in a topic...I would smell flume...just hope that both will not flare up...

Friend has been asking me to appeal for my Law paper ever since the results released...checked with the school, they said they will only review the paper and not remark? HUH?! Can someone tell me what's the diff between review and remark? Review? Won't be remarking? Then what the purpose of appealing? And I gotta pay 55 pounds for that! Hurhur...and if I retake, its gonna be 48 pounds...come to think of that memorising part makes me go gaga...all those sections and subsections...names of the cases! OMG~ I have got few more weeks to consider whether to appeal or retake...haiz...just wanna put that behind my head...

My workplace is selling MNG's vouchers at a cheap price ($100 for $40)...grabbed 2 of it...went down yesterdae...bought 4 tops...have to topup $20...hee...but got a discount thanks to Linn's sis...(she got a VIP card on the spot which entitle to 5% off)...so in the end I paid $16.50...This is the first time that I bought so many tops at the shop in one go...haa...cos usually its very ex one! Its a good bargain!

Release of my Results

Have been trying to login the system today...but there's no updates...hmm wonder how my friend get hers when its only 1plus and the results won't be out at 4pm...

Visited Rzh to see her newborn baby gal~she's so tiny...about 2.something kg...born earlier by 17 daes...chit-chatted awhile before heading home...The first thing after bathed is to login to check my results~passed 2 papers...failed one...hur hur by 2 marks! Aiya, but am already prepared that I will flunk Law ya...Sad~ Hmm...should I take one more paper or just concentrate on this one? Come to think of it, its already March, will be abit rush if I take a new subject...most likely will concentrate on the Law paper first bah...moreover, my friend told me that Tax is not an easy paper...Haiz...

Snow City

Was at Snow City yesterday, hmm...how shall I describe the place? Hmm...the room is of a size of a football field (or slightly smaller)...there's a slope and a sort of viewing parlour...thats all...not much thing to play. We have to climb up the stairs inorder to slide down...the height of the slide is about 2 storey high...keke...scary...only played once. After that was teabreak at the open space area outside Science Park...chatted and mingled around with the volunteers and members. Then was back to RO...the guys decided to have a 'lo hei' at a nearby coffeeshop, after that was as usual bowling/ pool and supper. I tried playing pool, was like laughing thru out rather than concentrating on the game...even my 'teacher' gave up on me...Haa...then was supper at Rochor...yeah the famous beancurd...Yummilicious~

Iam having some problems with my pc! Wanted to download the latest version of MSN but the program kept prompting me that 'the key could not open...blah blah...' Friend told me to uninstall the previous one and try again but it make things worst! Now most of the shortcuts on my desktop are invalid! And the same problem still occurred! Happy Valentine's Day

Yesterday's dinner was superb! My aunt cooked a wide variety of food~fried rice, fried meehoon, mixed veg, sambal prawns, curry chicken, fried chicken wings, fishballs, hotdogs...and even desserts! WoO~ really looks like those cater from outside one! Haa...I told her, will be her 1st customer if I were to have any celebration/ party!

TwIn and Linn, so paiseh I can't join you gals yesterdae...haa...actually am about to leave but they asked me to stay...Hee...in the end I went home around 12am plus...luckily its very near my house and my uncle drove.

Other aspects of the story say that Saint Valentine served as a priest at the temple during the reign of Emperor Claudius. Claudius then had Valentine jailed for defying him. In 496 A.D. Pope Gelasius set aside February 14 to honour St. Valentine.

Gradually, February 14 became the date for exchanging love messages and St. Valentine became the patron saint of lovers. The date was marked by sending poems and simple gifts such as flowers. There was often a social gathering or a ball.

In the United States, Miss Esther Howland is given credit for sending the first valentine cards. Commercial valentines were introduced in the 1800's and now the date is very commercialised. The town of Loveland, Colorado, does a large post office business around February 14. The spirit of good continues as valentines are sent out with sentimental verses and children exchange valentine cards at school.

Traditions(some interesting ones)~
Some people used to believe that if a woman saw a robin flying overhead on Valentine's Day, it meant she would marry a sailor. If she saw a sparrow, she would marry a poor man and be very happy. If she saw a goldfinch, she would marry a millionaire.

Think of five or six names of boys or girls you might marry, As you twist the stem of an apple, recite the names until the stem comes off. You will marry the person whose name you were saying when the stem fell off.

If you cut an apple in half and count how many seeds are inside, you will also know how many children you will have.

Sian Sian Sian...todae have to go back to work...On the way to office, the train is quite empty...hur hur...most people is off todae ya...so 'demoralising'...The clock tick slowly...endure endure...lunch time passed~Ohh the hours seems so long~Finally, 6pm ~another half an hour!~ Yeah! 6.30pm! Grab my bag! Off the pc! Headed straight to the lift! Haa...

Today happen to be my aunt's birthdae, my uncle gave me a lift to buy a cake for her...hee...Wa todae really input alot! Regardless that my throat is sore...I ate alot of BBQ stuff...and drank a few glass of red wine! Haa...Tomorrow will be another dinner session at the other aunt's place...OMG! input and input...haa...= FAT!
